That is so me, Toots! I was always done with my work so fast, I would have 6 hours left of my shift to do…nothing. I remember emailing IH and saying “done with work. now what?” all the time.

Yup. I rot at my desk most of the time but this week someone is on vacation before me so it’s making the week fly by. I’ve tried reading a book but when people come in the door, I’m always on the look out for shady robbers so I lose my place alot![/quote]

You work at a Hotel or something?

I work at a bank.

Hai all. Lots 'o cabbage. Wowsa. Chimy, how are ya?

Hola everyone! Just got out of the gym. Got bitched at for deadlifting and creating too much noise and using chalk (apparently against the rules though I’ve never been told that in 6 months of lifting there). It’s a good thing I generally have my own rule of not listening to morons at commercial gyms.

I go to a commercial gym but it’s 3 floors and the “management” doesn’t seem to care about anything but bringing in more new members. I’d be pissed if someone commented on my noise level.

Doing alright. Had a good deadlift session at the gym. I saw one of the pics. You really look great!

Hi Chim!!

Yah I was pretty pissed. I asked him to show me demonstrate how to lower it quietly…I had 470 on the bar. He walked away.

470, wow. haha Walk of shame on him!

Well, not to defend the douche, but that is a big pull without a warmup.

EDIT:

Unless dropping a testy on the floor is a desired outcome.

Thanks Deb!

Are you still carrying your trap bar to and from the gym?

Video up in my log now. Was solid on the first 2 or so, didn’t use enough legs on my last 3 and not sure if I got the full lockout on the 5th. It’s close.

True, I’d of let him warm up though, I would of even shared my contra-ban chalk. All offers were declined.

I lol’ed, hard

WHADDUP YO?!

Chim, nice Avi! IH gets all the good pics. Yep, still carrying the trap bar.

I feel like you could start a fitness trend with that. You’d just have to come up with a catchy name… like “a long walk with my trap bar: how one woman realized her goals”
