MiMD, how old is your oldest?
My mom got me helping with laundry when I was 6 or 7, and I was ‘allowed to’ prepare some foods earlier than that. I didn’t think it was fair at the time, but after the initial learning curve, I think it helped to make things easier on my mom.
As far a trading kids goes, I’ve got an 18 month old sociopath who just grins at you while scolding him.
