Not to drag y’all back to the subject line but I just noticed that I’ve killed 6 out of the 7 threads I’ve posted in. Isn’t that an 86% kill rate?[/quote]

Pretty sure they’re cows.

If we could all walk around airbrushed, we wouldn’t have to worry about such imperfections.

I have stretch marks on my hips and thighs from weight gain during puberty. They do fade with time. It sucks, but what can you do?

Bitch and moan?

I’ve got them too, but it turns out I notice them way more than anyone else.

Isn’t that the truth! We all obsess over things that no one else even notices or cares about.

He would if he could walk.

Is he bedridden? Does that mean he’s got 1200 lbs of fat with very little muscle mass in there?

As a guy, I will tell you for a FACT that you ladies notice that stuff FAR more than any of us. I mean, hell…even if we are LOOKING for something to be a dick about, I don’t know if stretch marks come up often.

//my 2 cents.

Yes, most guys are just happy to see a naked woman, they really don’t care about the rest.

I think this may only apply in person.

hmmm, I was going to reply with a smart remark, but then decided that you were pretty much correct, although there are caveats.

For example, quality counts for something - example Amy Winehouse = no, no, no! Salma Hayek = oh yes!

Most are something in between.

So this week’s adventure is an MMA class. Is there an MMA equivalent to SRCs? Do you kids know if there’s anything I should avoid doing/saying?

PCH2 - I’m a scientist/engineer/techie guy, and I have NEVER met anyone that uses as many acronyms and abbreviations as you do.

WTF is an SRC? IMHO IDK what that is.

Agreed, bell curves are wonderful.

Really, I’m not that bad at all. Where’s steelyd and his leet?

MMA - Mixed Martial Arts

SRC - Squat Rack Curler

Ah.

So, Mixed Martial Arts I knew. But, given that my experience with it was about 15 years ago watching the first UFC pay-per-views, how does it translate into a ‘class’? I understand it from a competition standpoint: you can have 2 folks or different ‘styles’ duke it out…one with a more grappling form and another more of a kickboxer type and there’s sure to be some fun.

But what happens in a class? Is it like a sampler platter of disciplines? Round robin lottery of what you’ll learn that session? “OK folks, we going to learn Krav Maga on this side of the room, and you folks on the right will practice your drunken monkey techniques”.

Sounds scary.

I don’t know and that’s the whole point of the adventure. Combat sports doesn’t seem to have a beginner’s thread, ugh.

Oh, thanks.
