But really, any dude with 8 cats might very well be throwing lotion in a bucket to a fat girl.

This is a common misconception.

You would not want a fat girl for her skin, because she is more likely to have stretch marks.

I thought that was the whole point of the lotion.

Lotion doesn’t eliminate stretch marks!
Right, I thought the lotion was for workability of the material.

But a fat girl who has ALWAYS been fat (like that girl in the movie) wouldn’t have had stretch marks, I’d think.

PCH2 - just watch out for Buffalo Bi- I mean, your boss.

How many fat girls do you know who were always carrying around their current body weight from birth? Even if they were a fat kid, it isn’t like they grew up without gaining any more body fat to stay fat.

Every time someone asks me about cloning people they seem to assume they’ll get a fully grown exact replica of themselves immediately.

Shit, considering the potent effects of environment and peers on the development of personality characteristics, you could literally raise yourself and “second you” would not be just like the original aside from appearance and DNA.

I give - sorry I made a sweeping generalization in an attempt to be witty, and wasn’t he giving her lotion in order to prevent the stretch marks?
And I’m arguing for entertainment value… so no worries.

Can you imagine the sheer emotional horror that Michael Jackson’s clone would have to suffer if he knew that he’d have to undergo ‘the transformation’? Eeek!

I want to start of by saying I can’t believe that the fat chick from Silence of the Lambs is getting this much discussion, but my point isn’t that a fat girl popped out at 2 and a quarter…but that aren’t stretch marks usually the result of RAPID weight gain? I mean, if you’re ALWAYS on the larger end of the scale, I’m sure you’re not gonna get as many stretch marks.

Proof? Pregnant women and bodybuilders. Rapid increase in weight (either fat or muscle or something stretching the skin quickly) causes the stretch marks.

Still, I wouldn’t wanna get the hose.

You’ve gotta wonder how much apperance would vary too.

Stretch marks aren’t exactly that confined by laws of creation. If you gain weight, be it muscle or body fat, you increase the chances of getting them. The speed of growth is a larger factor, but there is nothing that dictates someone who gains at a slower rate will avoid them. Once the skin loses its support (which would be the case with obesity whether they gained slowly or not), the scar appears.

Further, this would imply that a fat person who was overweight from childhood somehow maintained a steady rate of slow growth of body fat…but still remained obese. Someone paying that much attention wouldn’t be obese to begin with unless it was on purpose.

Was the chick that fat? I can’t seem to find a pic of her.

IMDB will set you free.

Lil’ trivia for ya: The actress gained ‘25 lbs’ to play Catharine Martin.

What’s fat? In T-Nation terms yes. In average American terms, not-so-much.

Well, if you’ve seen the movie, she was rather chunky.

Is that a male? Why are boobs allowed?

I’d be more concerned to find out if that’s a testicle or his thigh fat on the left!

(and boobs are allowed, as long as it’s tasteful like this photo, right?)

I don’t know the rule on moobs.

Not to drag y’all back to the subject line but I just noticed that I’ve killed 6 out of the 7 threads I’ve posted in. Isn’t that an 86% kill rate?

Imagine giving birth to a 300lb baby.

I saw a tv show on this guy, I think he is the worlds largest man. He weighs like 1200 pounds. And those are a type of tumor on his legs, he has had them removed, but they grow back.
