Ever Feel Like A Thread Killer? 57

Happy New Year to all of you folks. Started it off pretty hard this morning. Am now looking baby stuff. August is D-Day. Prepare…

Christine…I’d enjoy seeing you in action. I remember a pic of you a couple of years ago…you’re one strong woman.

10 minutes is my limit on the machines. Tabatas suck.

Morning TK. Coffee and purple pills to start the day.

Hi Rod and you’re right, Tabata sucks, lol.

Grr…just completed 2d session, tag-teamed with physical therapy. Smoked. Feels good, man… Impressed the female therapists that were observing. Pity one was fat and the other crackhead thin. SMH…

Spock, I think you should try Oly lifting

Seriously, I have OCD and am so obsessive and so it’s perfect for me. I can obsess over weightlifiting ALL DAY and there are so many technical details to obsess over and an infinite number of youtube videos of lifts and ohmygod it’s so much awesome!!! And it is so hard and maddening that it makes me crazy but then I think about it more and more and …

catches breath

Crossfit is fun too =) But no where near as cool as Oly.[/quote]

I would love love LOOOVE to learn Oly lifting, but I think I would want someone who for sure knows what they’re doing to teach me the bascis.
That’s another thing that sorta sucks. I don’t know anyone who works out, let alone works out hard. I would even just like someone to come around once an a while to push the prowler with me to make it less redundant.
Do you guys have people in your life, friends etc… who share your interest in working out?

Morning dudes (and toots). One thing about having dogs in the house, is it gets me up in the morning and outside for a walk.

FMC FTW!

Yes and no. One is into lifting, while the others are more into the other stuff I do, ie-martial arts. They all look at me as the odd duck, as I do both, and then some.

They are all but illegal here in the state of Bavaria. Germany.

Then I guess you should have said “Fuck you, Bavaria, Germany!”

Have not eaten any food yet, walked out the door this morning at 4:30 and left my lunch bag on the counter in the kitchen. FFFFFUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKK

BUT I did hit a PR today so I am pretty pumped from that.

Gettin’ spouse on the workout wagon, I think. And the food. He did an upper body workout on Sunday, and a few minutes of elliptical yesterday, said “holy shit I’m going to die” and I think that was a wake up call for him. I hope. I feel better too, new leaf turned over and shit. I’ve realized I’ve had a lot of anger and resentment that was killing and depressing me and I just kind of let it go. I’ve been so much happier the past few weeks.

In other news, spouse couldn’t sleep this morning and accidentally set off the house alarm at 5:00 am. It’s 120 decibels. I slept through it. I am awesome.

Awesome pups, Ink!

The adopting thing is pretty rewarding.

Good. I’m glad, PMPM.

Thanks IH, they’re amazeballs. Hope everything works out well to where we get to actually adopt them, but if not, they’ll make someone really happy.

That’s awesome news all around, PMPM, so you’re actually having a “Happy” New Year so far! Yay!

When Greeny and I were trying to adopt a cat/kitten, there was a shiton of qualifications that you had to pass before you were considered. I had tried no less than 4 shelters and it was just a monumental pain in the ass.

Is it similar where you’re adopting from?

So I was determined to not sign the early out list at work last night since I need to sign it Thursday night…yeah…pulled muscles on the left side of my ribs, hurt every time I moved, even just to breathe. Since I was dealing blackjack and had to move and twist and lean all the time I was like “FUCK THIS” and had myself put on the list…10 minutes later I was leaving.

At least I worked 5 hours…But now I can’t sign for Thursday since I need the money and hours…dammit. Guess I’m only getting 4 hours of sleep that night before driving 7 hours to exchange a cat with my parents…
