I’m 2-3" shorter than you…

It took me awhile to break 240 from 220, and it took a fuck ton of food to hit 260.

I’m back to 240, leaner than before, and looking to maintain that weight for the foreseeable future, unless one of two things happen:

  1. I get over myself and actually diet down. (COuple factors hindering this)
  2. I keep gaining on 2,500-3,000 cals a day, LOL!

EDIT: my point is, gaining gets harder, and you typically will have to get “uncomfortable” to break a weight sticking point. I would have never thought at 220 that I would be able to maintain 240 on 3k or less a day.[/quote]

I know all this but it is getting beyond uncomfortable. I just don’t think I’m big enough that I should have to eat 5000 cals/day, it’s getting ridiculous. I’ll drop 20 or so, then hit this weight leaner and prob keep gaining from there.

Aren’t you already there?

I don’t know if I eat 5000cals in a week. holy shit, wish I had trouble gaining weight.

Am I the only one that pictures DJ as always having a baby around?

Things I learned after 25 years of lifting.

Eat big=get big=big lifts
Eat small=get small=small lifts

Its all about what your goals are, pick them and stick to them. You can drop weight when you get my age. My .02
