Hallowed, I did squat and it felt good! No hands going numb or anything! Of course it was just the bar, but still, it felt good. I did log my work out but we’ll see how often I go. I want to go at least 3 times a week, so we’ll see with that. I need to get my food on track, but that will be slow going. I’m weak when it comes to food, giving up soda/junk food will take time and I know I will never give up pasta/bread/starches, I just need to moderate it. I’m not used to cooking anymore so I need to get back to that as well.

Um, I drink soda and eat junk food and weigh 180. However, I have not GAINED any weight either…so working out, even as sporadically as I do, seems to be working. Also, having to climb 4 flights of stairs twice every day to eat prolly has something to do with it.

It didn’t get that bad for me until after I hit 250… Then I just stopped talking about lifting with non-meatheads unless asked. even then I keep it to very little detail.
My wife just worries that I’m going to kill myself. She hears 415 w/ 40lbs of chains and thinks “dead husband, no pay mortgage”, lol
Get home from shift, trying to pick one up tomorrow, get told there is a fundraiser downtown tonight that involves food/booze for the low low price of $25, will not be working tomorrow, will be drinking in the city, preparing for wedding festivities this weekend. LTD

I did stop drinking soda while I was working out after moving here and I didn’t lose any weight. I’ve stopped drinking soda before, for months at a time, and I’ve never lost weight. shrug
