Hella~

Hella~
Morning. Worked out today. Feel good. ![]()
I stopped getting dick pix when ppl found out IH and I were together. I think they’re afraid of him. Besides I think only two people sent me random dick pix so I don’t they really count.
Anybody else in here workout 5-7 days a week?

Currently running a Sheiko PL program, no way I could handle it. I’m working with 3-4 days and it’s plenty. Although I “could” throw in cardio type days, and it would technically be working out more days. Or do you mean strictly lifting?

I do sort of. I’m supposed to lift four but my long workout frequently gets split so sometimes I have five lifting days. And I’m supposed to do cardio four times but really do it between zero and seven. Lately, zero. Starting that back up again very very soon… as soon as I readjust to cal deficit probably so maybe this week sometime.

Not lifting. I cant do two a days, morning lifting/cardio and evening vise versa.
So more just every day doing some type of exercise.
I would start breaking down if I tried to lift every day, but who knows maybe I am being a puss.

Yes. I’ve also been doing very early AM stepmill 3-4x a week in addition to my evening lifting.
Down 10 lbs. (gasp!)

So how would you feel you think if you did the evening lifting and on off days doing the cardio? Would you get better results? As in FAT loss and not muscle loss?
< ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 4 day split/4 days per week

I have no idea. LOL.
I think it’s probably more related to calories consumed. I don’t do all out freaking kill myself cardio. I walk the steps for 30 mins (or whatever) and I get my heart rate up and sweat like a pig, but it’s not running 10 miles.
I’m still eating a lot-- just dropped all bread/wheat/dairy and doing A/D type carb ups (but small ones for now), just to get my insulin/blood-sugar where I want it.
Stregnth hasn’t dropped. Energy fluctuates. I think the 10lbs is mostly water, some fat maybe. I’m seeing more vascularity/definition. Less bloaty for sure.

I still keep thinking about the article on here a few months ago, we were talking about it in the over 35. The oly coach who has his guys squatting every day etc.
As a former fat guy, my metabolism just runs slow naturally, I actually feel better doing something every day. Lifting heavy 3-4 days a week and then alternate stuff.
Just trying to get thoughts.

I remember that article. It’s what pushed me over the edge to finally start Sheiko. Squatting multiple times a week and squat/bench/squat workouts have increased my work capacity 10fold by not allowing myself the usual 3-5 minutes rest after each heavy single, like I was doing. I’m gaining strength pretty well (I think) and I’ve only been doing it for a few weeks. I’m still a newb though, so I’ll take whatever gains I can get.
I’m a former/current fatty myself, and this shit is like cardio for me. And if the increased work doesn’t make me sweat, the brazilian degree garage does! I really should do SOMETHING daily, or at least 6 days a week. Someday…someday…
what sucks, is that in hitting my 365 DL Triples, I tell the people at work, and I get funny looks.
I tell my freinds (who do NOT train) and they ask me why do shit like that.
I tell the SO - and she tells me that I’m getting too big.
I tell my family, and they either:
I need to start hanging out with fellow meatheads.

Been doing more stuff myself daily and I just overall feel better.
I of course am not doing PL or strongman meets…yet. Just not in the cards with life, however I just wonder what some other people do.
Im doing 5/3/1, 2 on 1 off rinse and repeat. I also dont do the 4th week deload. If i feel I need it i will do it but lately have not been. Since there are weeks where my work hours i cant get to the gym every time i planned i kind of take deloads within the scheme of things.

That is why you are on here.
I just recently started having more friends who eat healthy and train. Makes for interesting conversations.
We got space in Houston your welcome to move ![]()
