Charlie post what you’re doing right now all days
I’m doing 5/3/1
DL, abs/core and always DL practice(still getting form down) and then if there is anything left then(other accessories, GM, hip thrusts or glute bridges)
Shoulder day(used to be OHP but my shoulder is grumpy right now) so I’m doing 8weeks to monster shoulders from here.
Squat, squat practice, back lunge, core/abs
Bench, pull downs, one arm row, other chest exercise(can’t remember the name), core/abs
Walk whenever, I was doing sprints but it interfered with squat progress and the weather was getting warm, I hate warm weather.

Things always done on each of the 4 days is Main lift and ab/core work and main lift practice of form I don’t want to add in something that wont do something awesome for my body.
I would like to stick with 531 for a while(vague much) to get strong first then more BB type focus. But maybe I could add in some accessories for the aesthetics. The getting stronger thing comes first but maybe I can have a little of both?

Is that enough info?
Yes that’s enough:)

At the end of your big lifting days DO YOU have anything left in the tank to add a few more accessory lifts? I would.

I am 90% aesthetically oriented though.
A lot of the times I don’t just enough for the abs/core stuff(abs and core are my most hated so I have to do them) but I will be doing less practicing the lower body lifts so I would like to put in a couple of accessories on those days. The bench is the next lift to be practiced and scrutinized but I am mostly done with squat and dl practices. So maybe 2 really good lower body accessories each for squat and dl days. Thanks for helping. Here is a dancing doggie for you.

My goals are feel good about me 100% lol.
But I think maybe in the New Year I’ll go for more BB(aesthetic) style goals.

Oh and I have an interview on Tues to any who were following my grumblings in my log.

Hi! Two more days of work until my ONE DAY weekend!!!

Can someone esplain this picture to me?

I like split squats too, but mostly because the ankle made regular impossible for a while.

Ummm…I think one of them is the right way to squat and the other is the wrong way?

Low bar v. High bar placement I believe.

I’m more comfortable with the lower placement, but as my arms and delts grow, getting my hands back like that gets more and more painful.

Yay, I get to sleep in to my normal wake up time tomorrow!!!

Afternoon TK!

Anyways now that we’re discussing the sumo vs conv is there a difference in terms of muscle growth when lifting with either one? Does it make a difference?

What I’m really saying is, who has the sexiest bottoms+thighs sumos or convs?<–Most Important.
I think both active the glutes in the same manner, as long as you are locking out at the top. seems like Sumo’s use a lot of the hams also, without teaing up the lumbar region of this old mans backside.

would like to hear what PMPM and Inky have to say on the subject, tho-

and get a recent picture of thier asses, if that isnt too much to ask for.
Well Frenchie does sumo so we need a pic of hers to compare also maybe Rocks too as he has made an argument for rack pulls, Should they all be wearing baby oil too?
sumo for the motha fuckin win. although my honest opinion ass ain’t about sumo or classic. It’s a squat thing.

(yeah for drunk post pics and such!! lol. Imma hate myself for dis one tomorrow)

No regrets, I like this pic you can really see the muscles. Very sexy and strong.
Dare we say Amazon?

Yep squats are in the mix now and for always.

So if neither are the bum exercise then I can stick with classic.

Right now it is the question of accessories.

Sweet jesus on the cross!

That’s it. The invasion of Canada is SO MOTHERFUCKING ON!

Hallowed with you on team USA resistance will be futile. If you wear that pretty lacy little V number I might even clean your appartment just to see you wear it.

I can see it now: Canada enslaved by will to The Hallowed

This.

In one picture the elbows are way too far back. This will/can cause the chest to cave losing tightness and cause you to do more of a goodmorning than a squat. With the elbows too far back you won’t stand a chance with heavier weights.

The bar is in different positions, but the elbows are not where they need to be to get the most out of the squat.

This picture is in starting strength, the book. It is about using the suicide grip on squats for the recommended low bar, medium grip squat that is supposed to be easy for beginners, but is killing the shit out of my damn elbows. It is followed by the caption…

“Figure 2-33. Incorrect (left) and correct (right) use of the hands and arms. Elbows should be elevated to the rear with the hands on top, not placed directly under the bar where they intercept part of the weight.”

It is a pretty good read in my opinion. Lots of interesting anatomy stuff.

This is why I’m confused. The pictures says wrists like that are wrong, but peoples videos seem to show them doing it this way. I was just in Frenchie’s log and her wrists looked exactly like the picture’s wrong. What’s up with that?

Oh and… OMNOMNOM frenchie!

Morning TK

I’m 35 minuetes early to my new job. Awesome. Btw,nl…OMNOMNOMNOM
