Anyways now that we’re discussing the sumo vs conv is there a difference in terms of muscle growth when lifting with either one? Does it make a difference?
What I’m really saying is, who has the sexiest bottoms+thighs sumos or convs?<–Most Important.

I think both active the glutes in the same manner, as long as you are locking out at the top. seems like Sumo’s use a lot of the hams also, without teaing up the lumbar region of this old mans backside.
would like to hear what PMPM and Inky have to say on the subject, tho-
and get a recent picture of thier asses, if that isnt too much to ask for.

Well Frenchie does sumo so we need a pic of hers to compare also maybe Rocks too as he has made an argument for rack pulls, Should they all be wearing baby oil too?

so my chiro told me i could start squatting and deadlifting again!!! ive been doing squats for the past couple years even though i was told i shouldnt no deads though, too much pain, just real light weight so as not to lose my form or anything. Havent done big weights since highschool- not gonna say what my “big weights” were so as not to be called a bullshitter.
anyways this week ive been squatting and dl’ing in the same session. The squat loosens me up and then i wont do as many sets of deads which is good bc too many will start to aggravate my back, so i do my squats then hit some deads to feel good about myself.
today i front squatted 275x1, i havent had 250lbs on me in years, it felt great and i had another in the tank, but i thought it may be sloppy so i didnt push it. i am PUMPED that there was zero pain. Also i decided to stick to front squats because I feel more comfortable with staying tight so thats what im doing, it makes sense in my head.
Pulled 305x1 didnt have any in the tank but i havent deadlifted since 2007. so i was happy with that too.

Dang! I’m impressed… and zero pain? That’s just fucking rad.
Way to be.
Off early, tomorrow off, guess I have time to find some baby oil…
Edgy, you’re sick man, haha
BTW Sumo works more ass, conv more low back. Both trash hams, in my experience. ME lower session tonight, probably do speed sumo pulls as assistance after reverse band squats, since you’re all interested

Charlie post what you’re doing right now all days
I’m doing 5/3/1
DL, abs/core and always DL practice(still getting form down) and then if there is anything left then(other accessories, GM, hip thrusts or glute bridges)
Shoulder day(used to be OHP but my shoulder is grumpy right now) so I’m doing 8weeks to monster shoulders from here.
Squat, squat practice, back lunge, core/abs
Bench, pull downs, one arm row, other chest exercise(can’t remember the name), core/abs
Walk whenever, I was doing sprints but it interfered with squat progress and the weather was getting warm, I hate warm weather.
Things always done on each of the 4 days is Main lift and ab/core work and main lift practice of form I don’t want to add in something that wont do something awesome for my body.
I would like to stick with 531 for a while(vague much) to get strong first then more BB type focus. But maybe I could add in some accessories for the aesthetics. The getting stronger thing comes first but maybe I can have a little of both?

Is that enough info?
Yes that’s enough:)
At the end of your big lifting days DO YOU have anything left in the tank to add a few more accessory lifts? I would.
