This is the reason why I tell everyone that plans on not getting high paying jobs (I consider this to be jobs that pay more in a year than what the average student owes in loans) to do one of the following:
- Drop out of HS, get GED and get trade certificate.
- Work through HS and continue to work for the same company after HS.
Me, I already have the offers to make decent money (base 40k plus commission) and I have in three years 10k and looking to end with 12k since I got a fat scholarship that takes care of almost everything including loans.
That is compared to my cousin…100k for a theater degree.
