BYU-congrats on the pending relocation. Sounds like a lot of good things are coming together for you.

BC-I didn’t click on the link, however, I’m with you regarding the commercialization of the holiday. I haven’t felt the holiday spirit since I was 10. I typically work on Christmas day.

Toots and whomever it was that pointed out Pink Floyd’s record sales- I couldn’t care less about their sales. They just don’t move me at all. Background noise at best. Ozzy, on the other hand, is AWESOME!!! Been to two of his concerts, and both were EPIC!! You’re still cool, though, Toots and other-dude.

Ink-Next week, I too will be chowing down on steak, and watching, perhaps, my next meal sitting in front of me…talking.

I feel it, just not like everyone else does. I realised that when I got in trouble for calling it Christmas break (back then Christmas break was 14 days long, one day before Christmas and then Monday after the 7th, which makes up the 12 days of Christmas almost exactly) and was told it was “holiday break” and I asked what other holidays was during “holiday break,” apparently NE is a holiday. I realised then people didn’t care that it was a holiday, they just wanted material gifts.

What’s “NE”? And yes, it’s become more about the material things. Started a long time ago, unfortunately.

fat gripz= awesome.

I also feel really dumb because I was trying to deadlift 315 (my max is 405x3) and I couldn’t with the fat gripz. Then I realized I was doing a double overhand grip and not a mixed grip. I thought “No way that could be why I can’t lift it.” But then I went to the mixed grip, and lifted it. Hahaha, I felt dumb.

I actually went back to sleep for a few hours. Today I am going to totally live it up since my daughter isn’t coming home until midnight. Leftover chinese food for breakfast and then I am headed to the beach to breath in all the good air. By the time I get home it will be suppertime and I will eat a salad to repent. Naptime and then some christmas shopping in the hood so I will get dressed up in meh bestest sweats. (:
