about the partying? basically you don’t drink, go out and be crazy. At least that’s how I always did it. I sometimes thought it was worse- I was just obnoxious period and I couldn’t blame alcohol. Every party I went to at BYU I inevitably was in some sort of “fight” (usually just pushing) because I would be a little more off the wall than most. Granted, I was downing a spike or two before each party, hahaha. Plus everyone winds up making out- there’s even a term for it called “NCMO” or “non-committal make out” which I am actually opposed to generally.
That and we have a lot of dances which wind up with four types of dances:
A) Slow songs- pairing off slow dancing
B) Line dance songs- everyone line dances
C) General songs- wind up with everyone forming groups of 6-20 “awkward dances circles” where people occasionally foray out to the middle and do some stupid
D) The Cha Cha Slide
Wow.
You, sir, come from a totally different world than I… It’s awesome.
What do you think of guys your age that drink, screw, and do “typical” kid stuff that most people your age, do? Honestly.

Honestly, if that’s the life they choose to live, it’s whatever. I get kind of sad when I have friends whose facebook updates seem to revolve around what sort of alcohol they’re consuming. Otherwise, it’s their lives. I just try and have as much ridiculous fun with my life as possible (and I do) and I’ve had a few friends approach me and ask me what it was I did that made me so different. The answer is I just have as much fun as possible, without alcohol. Or screwing girls. Or do drugs. If they need that to have fun, well, I feel kinda bad for them, but I don’t. I don’t think anyone does really, but if you do, I’m not going to get all pissy unless it starts to interfere with my life or puts anyone in serious danger.
Shit, I’d be a doctor or some shit if had your outlook/upbringing as a kid…
I can only imagine how much better my grades would have been with effort and shit. (I was a 3.0 and go type kid, but had a 3.2 from 9th grade until I graduated college, lol. Outside one semester in college.)
I was invited to go John’s Hopkins in 7th grade, but refused. I said it was because I wanted to play little league, which was true, but it was mostly because I was afraid to live alone at that age.
