I used the exact same sets as when I tested my regular squat because I’ve never done a box squat and had no idea what to use to start.
I didn’t take video, though I should have.
We’ll see what happens in my next tests I guess.

Yeah, I figured that wasn’t the best approach. I only did it that way because I’m in the middle of smolov and it called for my box squat 1RM. So I followed my test with the prescribed squats. I just needed some sort of reference. It was just a bit higher than I expected.

Saturday I have 12x2 at 75% scheduled. It felt really light doing that yesterday (so I added 20lbs). Hmmm. I’ve never done a program before and I am having a hard time NOT fucking with it. I have a sneaking suspicion I will put some more in on Wednesday and more weight too.
If I don’t put it in my spreadsheet then it didn’t happen, right?

I need to report that I detest the 24 hour gym by my new apartment and will be taking the time to go to my old gym. My regular one has a huge free weights room. Like four racks four cages four hack squats four leg presses etc. The new one is a" sport" with a pool and a basketball court and like no weights no machines and many many douchebags. Oh and lots of fat naked wome just walking around the locker room! No thanks.

Are they cute? I mean, if you were kinda lit up could they be mistaken for doable?
Foam rolling and using the corner of walls like a bear is no substitute.
Also ONLY people who lift heavy can give good massages, I know EXACTLY where my muscles hurt and how to push the kinks out of them. Only another lifter will share my unique pain and know how to fix it.
Girlfriend/spouse/fuckbuddy/massage therepist who lifts is a must people.
