I get to have dinner with my landlords in an hour, friggin starving!

What’s everyone doing for Thanksgiving?

I’m in for a heinous nightmare of familial torture on thanksgiving.
and yes I’m in a bad mood.

Awwwwwwwwwwww:( It’s THAT bad, huh?

I’m a pie baking fool. My sister in law can’t have wheat gluten, and I love to bake, so I’m baking cherry, apple, and pumpkin pies for the family. My cousin came up from Oklahoma, and we’ll convene at my parents’ place.

Also, I have to make a veggie dish. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Its usually not bad.
This year… this year yeah you don’t even wanna know!

I like squash casserole. With Bacon.

For as long as I can remember, my mom has made the same food every Thanksgiving, only on Thanksgiving. I love it.

But next year, I am cooking the Turkey for me and my by-then wife’s first Thanksgiving. We decided we wanted to have one year to ourselves (plus friends if they’re around) before splitting the time between families. My dad is teaching me a way to cook a turkey- basically a ghetto dutch oven/smoker weird combo called trashcan turkey. Better than baking, roasting, or deep frying.

I just saw some sort of squash tart recipe on Yahoo.
Looked interesting.

C’mon… spit it out.

I know you’re moving, too… right?

Fuck you speech, you’ve been written and practiced a grand total of 3 times and class starts in 20 minutes. Little practice on the drive in…and I should be golden, right?

Haha!

Later kids![/quote]

I would typically drink a 5th of tequila the night before a big speech, and ramble drunkenly for hours in front of my roommates and the mirror about the subject.

Then, in the fog of the next day, kill it, with a little improv and a little planned.

But then again I am comfortable with public speaking.

Driving to my moms. Hanging with the fam. Helping my Grandparents bring the xmass decorations down from the attic. Hoping to see mah buddies, but I doubt I will. I end up really drunk…

Re helping my Grandparents: they are old, I am strong and my cousin that lives down the street is a loser fat cocksucker and would charge them. I drive 200 miles to do it for free.

I love pie. Apple and Pumpkin tie for first, hair & cream are a close second.

Re Veggie dish: Bacon

This is like the best week of the year for me. Fifteen years ago when I had a bun in the oven (old moment), I didn’t know if I was having a boy or a girl. You didn’t get extra ultrasounds back then. My due date was 11/21 but had no sign of labor. BUT they did tell me I was most likely having a girl. They could tell by the heartbeat.

I was on cloud nine all week but didn’t tell anyone cause I’m a paranoid freak!! My baby daddy’s family was conviced I was having a boy and even bought blue clothes. Spanish people love to have boys first. I don’t care what anyone says, girls rule! (:
