Going great Trav. I had a kick ass session at the gym yesterday.
We used to do one gift with my ex’s family and it worked out great.

How’s your leg byu?

Hallowed, I’m stoked about christmas! We’re doing random names so everyone only gets one gift this year, no kids so it’s perfect.[/quote]

my leg is doing really good actually. Played volleyball the other night, and I’m handling jumping really well. Walking is normal only thing that’s still a little weird is climbing stairs. My left calf is doomed to always be bigger than the right now. The muscle has actually like… well, when I get it all closed up one more time, it’ll be cool, but I can tell right now I have more muscle mass in my left calf than my right, simply because it has had a lot more room to grow, thanks to you know, the whole six inch skin graft, haha.

That’s good about the gym! I think the one gift thing is a good idea, I mean there’s nothing most adults really want for Christmas anyways except the company of family, and good food lol

Have a good night, Hallowed! Will probably be going to bed soon as well.

14 is too many!!! Jesus christ you’re gonna have to drop some coin this season, I feel sorry for you!

I’ve also be acclimating myself to some hard cardio lately so I feel your pain somewhat, although I’m just running/spinting I’m sure whatever circuits you’re doing are brutal.

see the camera phone pics thread for updates on my leg

So, this is a story all bout how
My calf got cut and is sewed up now
So if you’d like to take a minute, just sit back and read
I’ll tell you the story about my medical history

Started in college, saw blood in my piss
I leaned my head back and said, “what the hell is this?”
So like any guy I just ignored it even though
I started to notice that my stream was getting slow

Went home for the summer, finally saw a urologist
Stuck a camera up my wee felt like a reverse piss
He saw scar tissue and then he got scared
He said, “we’re gonna have to take a laser all up in there”

Had a surgery at school, which later failed
Had a second surgery, then I went and I hailed
For a few months as a mormon missionary
In washington state till again there was blood in my pee

So I came home and I got a consultation
Went and saw the greatest urologist in the nation
He said “there’s only one solution to your problem i see
You need a major reconstructive urethroplasty”

So I went ahead and had it it took eight hours
Started to recover man, didn’t even get flowers
I kept trying to walk, but my legs felt like foam
Finally diagnosed with compartment syndrome

Another doctor, he came in and told me
“We’ll cut open your calf, ain’t a thing homie”
“Then we’ll put a skin graft on that wound
Just keep changing dressing and you’ll be walking soon”

So I kept popping antibiotics and lots of vicodin
Walking improved bit by bit and finally then
Got okayed to go back and serve in california
So I began to get back to my door to door’n ya

I finished my two years, non consecutively so
Had another surgery to fix my leg and Oh!
Recovered from the boot and here I am now
byukid, all game and know how
