Pics of the glutes Chim? I’ll see what I can do about that. Mondays I do deads, seated rows, lat pulldowns and a quick fat burner. I do 5 sets of 5 on my deads and 5 sets of 8 on the others. Wed I’m squatting, doing bent over rows, DB presses and push presses. 5 sets of 5 mon the squats, 5 sets of 8 on the rest. Then I do a quick interval thing. Sat I do weighted glute bridges, floor presses, bulgarian split squats, dB reverse lunges, DB step ups, and DB walking lunges. 5 sets of 8 of everything. So that’s medium volume, Chim? I up the weights every 1 to 2 weeks to keep it challenging. Happy for feedback if you have some Chim.
Your Saturday is a shit load of volume.

If you are recovering and progressing don’t change, but 5x8 on 6 lifts is a ton of volume

I remember when I tried to eat a chicken breast and 2 eggs one morning… fail.

Hmm, I knew that I’ll regret doing legs before intervals in gym class tomorrow. I swear I can’t feel my legs

Shit I love leg day
Well if it’s such a problem I can feel your legs for you.
Oh would you? You’re such a doll.

Ugh reverse lunges? Power to you Deb.

Dang, that’s a lot of leg training. That’s bad ass that you can train them that much.

The only thing I might change is maybe add in more variation for back training. Granted this is just from personal experience but my back seems to respond better to variety rather than doing a lot of sets of the same exercise. But, if it’s working for you no need to change it.

It looks good though and you’re enjoying it so keep it up!

Hm thanks Beans. I didn’t realize that was a lot. Mind you I suffer through the whole thing. Last Monday my DL sucked ass. 145 wouldn’t effing move. 135 felt easy. Maybe this is why. I could move some things around. Yeah Nikki I pretty much hate those last 4 moves but I know they are good for muh legs and ass.

Of course.

Deb it’s all what you can do. Personally I like your Saturdays because I like that kind of volume (well, I don’t predetermine the amount of sets that I do, but I do like a variety of exercises). I’ll be able to handle it and only you can know if you can handle it. And I’m assuming that if you hit them that hard on Saturday and can do deads on Monday, that you’re able to handle it as well.

I’m with Chim with the variety with the back. The back can be hit from so many different angles that I like to incorporate a lot of those different ways in a week.

It depends on what you have/what you enjoy.

Right now for back I’m doing: deads, pendlay rows, yates rows, kroc rows, lat pull downs, cable lat pull downs, cable rows, bent over rope pull thingies.

Thanks Chim. I have access to most things.

They are my very last exercise on my Superset day and I just despise the living hell out of them! Also from my thyroid shit my balance is ridiculous (read that as ridiculously BAD) and I swear I’m in danger of eating shit just trying to get my back foot up on the bench LOL.

ETA: Hey I like that word you just made up Bulgarian’ing LOL. May it stand forever as an activity to be despised.

!

ok I’m Slightly Peeved…

I tried the real estate thing a while back. Apparently who you work for matters a LOT moar than I thought. I worked for a broker that owned many many offices, and had access to nearly unlimited advertising resources. I failed miserable, the training was bad, no one to go to for help, no one in the office had made any sales that year except for the manager. That office was eventually closed.

An acquaintance started selling real estate around the same time, he’s six months younger than I am. He started in a no-name office, owns like 38 websites, 3 houses, owns benz’s, bimmers, and audis, owns a management company, home remodeling company, a construction company, and is an up and coming real estate tycoon in Boston.

fml

Edit: I had 5 years of sales experience, including commissioned sales with no base salary. He had ZERO sales experience.

/rant…oh hai, jai cutzler was atz mah jim ystardai!!! Hez so strong iz not funi.

Morning everyone. All you lady’s are volume whores. Join the darkside and lift ze heavy weights and tell yourself it’s okay to take 5 minute long rests between sets.

Ucallthatbass - real estate is very interesting indeed. If you don’t get the training you truly won’t go far.

Morny Morns… I don’t know how I’m going to pay attention to making money this week. All the games are on when my next big deal is supposed to be percolating and closing! My ONE MILLION DOLLAR (pinkie to lips) new biz date is 11/01. Which means deal must be bound by FRIDAY. Argh.

Everyone feeling perky and healthy this Monday?

I’m feeling healthier and am getting back in the gym this week. Really going to start ramping up the heavy stuff in preparation for my meet.
