So…I get the lack of spinal compression. But this is still an overhead press with the same stresses on the shoulder joint so i’m not sure how Scott thinks otherwise.
Rock…I’ve been doing Scott’s cable back complex(once a week after DLs) after I saw the vid you posted. I like it.

FML I can see hoards of skinny twinks doing that move, and just rocking their ass back and forth.

I think your perception of what I do or don’t care about is off. I observe a lot. But I really don’t give a fuck what someone is doing unless I see progress and effort. I mean, how is someone supposed to learn anything if they don’t look around them? I KNOW I don’t know everything, so I watch people making progress to see what they do that is different from myself.
The point of my post was:
Rather than some newb getting stronger in a DB press or BB press, they are going to swing their ass around playing with a cables because they saw a video on the internet and think it is superior. A developed dude or someone making progress that knows their body and can perform that lift appropriately should benefit from it greatly. Someone struggling to kick up the 50’s let along press them over head isn’t going to be able to stabilize themselves enough on that lift to do it right, let alone benefit from it.
But thanks for being my e-dad the last couple days. I really need your posting guidance.
