Hey you ![]()

So I’m late to respond to pch’s Canada picture (I think it was hers)… but here it goes anyway.
So my dog has been pretty depressed since my brothers and I all moved away from her. In the fall/winter she was going through some health problems and my mom ended up arguing with my vet recently because he basically wasn’t doing anything. I got home this morning and saw her and my first thought was “wow she is frail”. She had a vet appt with a new vet and now they’re running a fuckton of tests that the vet hadn’t done to figure out why she’s losing weight. She’s a 2yr old boxer (I’ve posted pics before) and since Oct she has gone from 56lbs to 45lbs. During a time when she should be growing and putting on weight. I am not happy about this. ![]()

So he needs more attention? Maybe a neighbour will walk him a few times a week or something? That sucks ![]()
Boxers the absolute most emotional breed out there, poor gal
Hi Ducky
^ Good Evening. I’ll be back in an hour or so, I’m going to try to convince my son that he wants to go to sleep a bit earlier than usual.

When you WANT them to go to bed, they’re like…no effin way!
When you want them to stay awake, say if you’re out…shopping or something, they’re like spawns of Satan until the pass out in the car…
kids…

No kidding… and to mess her up even further, my baby brother got home last night and she was confused. I got home today and she was even more confused. My mom had been out of town for work until tonight so she’s basically had no idea what’s going on. When she’s stressed she does a lizard tongue where she just sticks it out regularly. Doesn’t lick her nose, just sticks it out quickly. She’s been doing that all day/night.
My brother and I both went out for a bit tonight… she followed him to the door when he left then looked around at the rest of us. Did the same when I left. When I got home she started pacing like she didn’t know if she should hang out with me and believe that I’m staying. After some tummy rubs and cuddling, she’s now passed out next to my bed snoring like a bear.
I love her and she’s such a pretty girl, but she’s crazy just like her mama (aka me) ![]()
@Trav - she’s getting plenty of playtime/attention. Before I moved I ensured we had a dog walker to take her to the park every day. At this point I’m 98% sure it’s physical. However, in case it’s not, my baby brother is now home for the summer and my other brother will be home in 2 weeks.
