I go 5,5,5,5 with 3-5 breaths in between to make it seem like I’m not really doing high reps.

Shoulder health is soooo important, I have an old rotator cuff injury from my first few months of lifting and it fucking sucks! It might not seem like it now, but when you start throwing around more weight it’s like everything you were doing wrong to get there gets thrown in your face and you end up having to do all kinds of weird shit just to be able to lift pain free, so fucking do it or else!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

pch2 without balanced shoulders you end up like me, with injuries, and you have lots and lots of physical therapy which doesn’t work, then surgery (3 different procedures), then more PT which does work for range of motion.

I had a bankhart lesion repair, rotator interval closure, and an anterior capsular shift. I was in a sling for 6 weeks, PT for 6 months, external rotation was reduced from 90 to 40 degrees, and I couldn’t lift my arm to even shoulder height for about 2.5 months post OP.
