I’ve got a single cousin in MI who built his own house and is barely home because he’s either hunting, fishing, or racing snowmobiles. Only problem is you’ll NEVER get him out of the thumb.

I know they are very common, and you don’t see them very much with the tan, but I don’t know if there is an unwritten frowny face.

My assumption and based on things that i have read is that they are frowned upon. The reason is that it would detract from the physique, taking attention away from the muscles and etc.
I think it would be kindof like austin powers judging the big mole guy in one of the movies. Maybe not to that extent, but it can be an issue from a judging perspective. But it could also depend on what kind of tatoo, and how big it is as well.

Prof X told me a while ago that if the judging gets to be within a hair than the athlete with the ink takes the bullet. As a whole though you’ll be fine with them…for the most part tanning masks them.

I don’t want sleeves or full leg tatts or anything, but I have three already: 2 on my upper arm and 1 on the other arm. Planning to get a band under my sun…and one on the outer calf? And more as I decide and save up money for!

from what I read, is between two equal people, the one with tat’s loses. But it won’t stop a clear winner from running away with it.
It is going to be up to teh individual judge.
