Even More Movies You've Watched This Week II

Whiplash with the dude from oz is pretty fing good.

Hot Tub Time Machine 2 was so utterly bad, I saw it On Demand and thought of ways I could argue for a refund from Time Warner.[/quote]

Worst movie I’ve ever paid money to see. Total shitfest.

“Noah”

Not what I expected.
Even the good casting couldn’t pull off a success.

Yep. Loved it. JK Simmons was perfect for that role.

Lucy.

Eh, wanted more action. Whole thing didn’t really make sense. Ending was hokey.

hated that movie with the fire of a million suns!

Would’ve been 30 seconds long it if weren’t for all the dumb stock footage they used.

Finally got to see Ex Machina. Really cool psychological thriller. I thought I figured out what was going to happen near the end, but I was a little surprised.

Yeah, it’s hard to talk about it without spoiling things. I’m going back to see it again with my son today, just so I can talk to him about it.

Avengers 2 comes out next weekend. Yes.

Saw it. Didn’t enjoy it at all. Felt like a 2.5hr compilation of tedious action sequences badly edited together. Fans of the comics might enjoy it more.

Loved James Spader as Ultron though, but then I’ve long been a huge fan of his.

The consensus I have heard is that it is good, not great. I’m sure it differs from each person. I never thought the first one was as great as people made it out to be. It was a fun movie, but I didn’t think it was good enough to purchase when it came out on blu ray. I’m totally still seeing it next weekend though.

I’d have to say my favorite out of all the marvel movies has been Captain America Winter Soldier.

“Unbreakable”

I’ve seen it 5 times, and it’s still great every time.
M. Night Shyamalan has had some flops to be sure, but when he’s good, he’s great!

Unbreakable is a masterpiece in subtle power.

I thought the Avengers Age of Ultron was good. It wasn’t like greatest movie ever but it was entertaining. I still stand by my statement of Captain America Winter Soldier being my favorite Avenger movie so far.

I thought it was meh it was a step down from cap and guardian’s too much focus on Hawkeye and the

Unbreakable was great. They really should have made another one. Unbreakable might be the the most deserving movie that didn’t get a sequel.

Spoilers

I also didn’t like how at the end they set up the cast for the next movie. The ending to the first was better when most of the Avengers went there separate way.

I agree about Hawkeye having more time. It’s like they were trying to make up for him not having much screen time in any other Marvel movie.

Oh, whoops, edit; spoilers sorta I guess…

oh, did that seriously mean those were going to be the characters in the next avengers movie?
That is fucking lame.
Do not want.

Agree (saw it Saturday), except I think Guardians of the Galaxy is the best Marvel movie so far with Cap II and Thor II being a very close second and third.
