Ex Machina is even better.

I really want to see this but it came out in limited release. Hopefully in a few weeks it goes wide. It looks very creepy.

Predestination - based on Robert A. Heinlein’s All You Zombies. Unbreakable with time travel. I want to buy shares in Sarah Snook- she’s that talented.

Hated it it was like a transexual time warp… He/she goes back in time to kill its vagina & fuck him/herself This made my brain hurt and my dick limp
I’d like to erase you from the timeline for spoiling the movie just because you didn’t like it.
Damn. I wish I hadn’t read that post!

He knows jack about modern sci-fi. Kip Thorne was a consultant on Contact years before Interstellar.
I know a lot of people hated it, but I LOVED Contact.

Contact is one of my favorite movies. I think people get upset about the “alien” at the end. It’s a great story though between science and religion.
I think this was a hug story arc in the comic. I never read it, but this movie seems like a filler one off comic stretched out into a movie.
I like my hulk silent and raging. He talks a bit too much for my likes here, but there’s some good violence. All in all, it’s ok.
just a short, but i thought hulk vs. thor was better

Saw this about a year ago. My exact thoughts as well- too much talking for the big brute…
It’s not a movie but Daredevil released on Netflix this weekend, only caught episode 1 so far but it seems promising.

Apparently it gets a general release this month.
Alex Garland knows the genre inside out and back to front. 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Never Let Me Go, Dredd. Even The Beach was about social collapse.

Contact was good. Just saying that Kip Thorne and Matthew McConaughey were involved in that too and nobody shit their pants over it.

Darkest MCU property so far, by far. Fight scenes are sublime (he fights without looking). Vincent D’Onofrio’s take on Wilson Fisk is as nuanced as you’d expect. Deserves a thread of its own.

This show is so damn good. I’m 5 episodes in and I’m hooked. I still don’t know how I feel about Vincent’s Fisk to be honest but everything about the show is good. Even the intro credits are cool!
watched The Raid 2 last night. Wasn’t a patch on the first one, in my opinion, but pretty entertaining all the same.

He’ll win you over by the finale.
What We Do in the Shadows - a bat on the wall mockumentary about vampires house sharing in New Zealand. The Spinal Tap of horror. As much spine-tingling as it is rib-tickling. The vampire cat is hilarious, but you really need to watch it to find out why vampires prefer the blood of virgins.
“K-Pax”
How did I ever miss this film for the past 14 years?
Kevin Spacey is fantastically endearing as an “alien”- mental patient.
Thoroughly enjoyable, deep, witty, and thought-provoking, film.
DO NOT watch the trailer! It doesn’t feel like the film.
Netflix has K-Pax as a streaming watch.
Its on youtubeonfire if u wanna see the pirate version…i was thinking of checking it out too.
Gone Girl.
I might be the last person to have seen this. Great movie. Makes me feel better about some of my own life choices, lol.
Ex Machina—two enthusiastic thumbs up.
Hot Tub Time Machine 2 was so utterly bad, I saw it On Demand and thought of ways I could argue for a refund from Time Warner.
