Is the new X-men movie worth watching in 3D ?

I would say ye.

I saw it in 2D and thought certain scenes, specifically a quick silver one, would have been amazing in 3D.

I loved the movie, maybe even as much as X2. No X-men movie has had such a constant, over looming threat to really move the plot a long and the ending was just too awesome for someone who grew up with the X-men movies.

PS - Stay for the after credits scene. “I am the rocks of the eternal shore. Crash against me and be broken”.

Its real 3d not post converted, so you would get your money’s worth. I didn’t notice a big difference in both formats as its very plot and character driven.

And surprisingly moving at times.

Just saw Xmen, badass movie.

STAY AFTER THE CREDITS FOR A SNEEK PEEK SCENE. !!!

I saw the new x flick last night. Enjoyable over all Singer fixed X3 which I thought was impossible. Without giving away spoilers I’d give it a solid 7
I give it a 9. I’m watching it again today.

Historical inaccuracies put a hair across my ass that scene were Charles is a junkie because his students were drafted is bullshit because students could get deferment, I also don’t care for the whole “villains aren’t all bad, let’s redeem Jennifer Lawrence because she’s the flavor of the month” ,shit so I stand by my 7. I gove Singer major props for fixing X3

 1. Deferment: I’ve never read any comics or watched the old cartoons. Is PX’s School for Gifted Youngsters an actual accredited institute of higher learning?

 2. It was stated and implied many times from the start that simply stopping Mystique from killing the guy was not sufficient to change the course of events leading to the future war. She had to choose not to kill him. Which ties in with PX’s belief in previous movies that humans should choose to accept mutants for who they are and not be coerced into doing so.

Fully accredited school

Did you gripe/nitpick so much with historical inaccuracies in Cpt. America?

I liked the concept more than the execution.

That’s Apocalypse’s name

Caught “Happy Accidents” with my girl. It’s like 15 years old and “independent,” I guess. The main reason why I caved on it was because she loves a love story, but I saw it listed in the Sci-Fi genre, so I thought it might not be typical… and it wasn’t.
Because of your review, I watched it with my wife and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Definitely not typical. Surprisingly good.
Thanks!

Well as long as you are fair across board!

Also, on the point that Nur looks girly - I honestly just thought that he was like 11 or 12 years old.

New X-Men was cool as everyone said. Since by now if you’ve read anything on this page you know the post credits scene is the Apocalypse reveal. If you really have to pee after the movie, just go; the extra wait isn’t worth the 5 seconds of seeing pre-pubescent En Sabah Nur doing nothing.

Strongly agree.

My understanding was that he was a swole dude, in the X-men movie he looked like a whiny teen bitch.

The bulk is from a suit. From what I remember he found out about his power in Egypt and then after years came across alien tech and then was able to hop into bodies to live on. So his look in Ancient Egypt should not be a issue on how he will look today.
