I know its a trade off between the extremes (flexed traps in most muscular and depressed traps in front lat spread) - I put up pics of dante doing this pose next to his front lat spread in another thread - but I’d expect to see “some” traps showing here. His look almost as flat as tho he was spreading his scapulae - probably the angle.

His arms are definitely looking much bigger since the last I saw him but he needs more traps!

In all fairness, this pose de-emphasize the traps by stretching them to create the illusion of more shoulder width.

Yeah, I don’t think CT was really sticking up for him per se, but just trying to give him a fair shake. Either way, traps are definitely lagging.
Damn the dude is a beast! I would like to see more of him and less of Troy Brewer…

You are judging this from one picture where he is clearly not flexing them like many would in a most muscular?
His traps aren’t lagging much in any contest pics I’ve seen.

That pic is also from 2 years ago. If the rest of his body has grown (which it looks like it has) and his traps have not, then yes, his traps are lagging.

Besides, what else do we have to judge him by besides this one picture?

I have him on several NPC dvds and his traps don’t seem to be his weak point. Like CT wrote previously, it is the pose. He isn’t flexing his traps the way he would if his shoulders were rolled forward as in a traditional most muscular.

Found some “In the Trenches” with this guy on his back training. This is the 2nd link of 11
He’s gonna win. Him or silvio.

Huge Evan Centopani fan, here. Ever since I saw him in one of the powerful images… I have been a fan. Just an incredible physique.
And his traps look fine to me.
EDIT: If anybody was interested, http://evancentopani.com/ ,
he has a really inspiring bio. I would think especially inspiring for overweight individuals.
