I’d say there’s a decent chance of Ireland drawing with Spain tonight. Ireland can often defend against the best but can’t score for shit.

Shit, Italy kind of threw that one away, and with it my 15 euros. Now if Ireland loses I’m going to turn off the air pump in my wife’s aquarium for a couple of hours.
Exciting tournament so far, had to feel for Ireland today but Italy bore the hell out me, they deserve to draw with their conservative manner of play. Obviously still many multiples more entertaining then England, hoping for something relatively exiting to happen tomorrow night.

England make it so difficult for themselves. If we start Walcott and can play Rooney we might actually start to have elements of attacking prowess (though Caroll and Welbeck both played well). We defended terribly today though considering it’s usually the sole strong point.
That was a good match, and England showed something that they’ve been missing of late - Heart.
Attacking wise i’d say we did better, though I think our defense was poor and if that was a against a better team such as spain or germany we’d of let in alot more goals. I know there was talk about loosening our defence and going more on attack because sweden aren’t at the same level as france but to have a chance at winning this we need be able to defend and attack. Plus was it just me or did Ibrahimovic say fuck you to Hart? Prick. He needs a hair cut.

Have to agree, Glen Johnson has played really well for me down the right hand side and stopped us being completely embarrassed two games in a row. Obviously set piece’s wise we were terribly defensively but generally we were ok otherwise.
For me, you have to make the most of the very limited attacking threat the England team poses, and that means having Walcott on the pitch from the start and passing to feet a little more, even if Caroll is started. I want to see players successful running against Ukraine and taking them on, to give us proper confidence for the harder teams. Germany and Spain are doing great so far.

Norway are offcourse not in this time around also, so I have a hard time giving a flying fuck, but I saw
the match beetwen denmark and the netherlands and it was a good game and I actually found myself routing
for my danish brothers and where actually genuinly glad when they won. Besides that I havent watched shit.
Ps. I think Norway havent been a part of a EC since 2000 and a WC since 1998. They havent done anything great since they beat Brazil in 98 and got a Bronze in the OL in Berlin 1936 Lol. Fuck we suck.
