So, I’m getting mixed opinions on this one. I’ve been testing my E2 by the normal exam due to sensitive assay not being available here in Brazil. At .25 mg EOD of Arimidex, E2 came back under 11 pg/ml (range 11-40 pg/ml). At .125mg, it came back at 19,4 pg/ml.
Thing is, I’m now not so sure these numbers are accurate. At .25 I felt great and horny, but my joints started to bother me (I’m not so sure now, could be placebo). No morning wood that I’m aware of either way.
What is an acceptable substitute for the sensitive E2 assay, if any? Are the regular E2 results at least partially accurate? Thanks.
Normally the only difference between Estradiol Sensitive test and regular estradiol test is better detection at the lower limits of the range. For example, the lower end of the range for estradiol is 7.6 pg/mL while the lower limit for the sensitive estradiol is 3 pg/mL. This test does not provide a more accurate result at normal ranges, it is only more accurate at very low levels of estradiol. The regular estradiol test is recommended for men. Your E2 is going to vary over time depending on how often you inject and when you have your blood drawn. Taking extra Supplements / medications can also affect your e2 clearance rate.

The above is straight from the LEF’s website IIRC.
