Anyone know of any studies that show how much and how quickly or how long it takes for estrogen to rise following injection? Everyone is probably a bit different, but looking for a ballpark number. Is it slow as in 1-2 points a day? 5 points a day?
Thanks I just got bloodwork done and my e2 was at 8 (range 10-40) looking to see how long before it goes back into the normal ranges.
Was it low from something else you took? Did you have symptoms as a result?
Took .75 mg arimidex first week and .75 spread over week 2…I took .5mg arimidex with last shot but this was before I got my results back. Now I’m gonna wait at least a week to 10 days before doing .25 or something, no symptoms really other than my mood is down.
Why take any Arimadex?

Because it was prescribed and would be completely stupid not to take anything, E is one of the hardest things things to balance on TRT and surely since I was slightly high out of range, taking test sure wasn’t going to drop my estrogen, one day last week I had put on 7 lbs water weight, BP going up, .5mg took care of it and I felt better later that same day, next day most of that water weight was gone. I’m going to continue to take it, dosage and timing is the tough part. I can deal with being a bit down over being bloated and having my BP go up when working out hard… Just have to find the sweet spot t keep me in the 20-30 range. Next e2 test is a week from today. only going to take .25mg for the week on my next shot and see where everything is a few days later.
Sounds like a good plan. Didn’t know your history with E2 causing water retention and BP issues. Arimadex is a powerful drug and if you’re sensible with your TRT dose you shouldn’t need much. Let us know how the new dose goes.
I didn’t take it with my first shot, but a day later I already could feel I needed it, and felt better afterwards. I wish I didn’t have to take anything, first shot was a mistake at 225mg (shoulda been 125)… everything since has been 125mg (doc wrote script for 100 but I know better lol) so I may not take anything unless I start to bloat or my mood becomes weird, and let this next 7 days play out and see where my e is on may 2 my next appt.
a lot of things effect estradiol + age is one as aromatase enzyme converts test to estradiol. i am older + tried Arimadex thru my doc + it put me in the hospital because i could NOT WIZZ. theres lots of info on the net but buyer beware + of course we are all a bit different. i still use TRT at 0.6 mm weekly in split doses said to be better + at 75 YO feel good although i take LOTS of “standard” supplements + only eat twice daily with limited carbs, works for me!!
Not sure mine ever went lower than 8 which was measure Sunday, after my bloodtest took 100mg shot of test, after getting the results, did another 25mg to help raise estrogen, had a double IPA beer last night to help estrogen, today erections coming more easily, but was still able to even at 8, mood much better today as well.
