Estradiol 7pg/ml!

Been on trt inj. For 7 years. Test. Always around 500-600 at time of weekly injection. E2 always under control (20’s) without anti estrogen pills.

My SHBG was high so I recently started taking 11mg of Boron and have been taking Cbd for several months for inflammation.

We’ll today I saw my lab results showed 538 test. And 7.0 pg/ml of estradiol! I have also been cutting body fat aggressively. Gotten down to 6-8%.

Whats causing this very low level? My sex drive cut in half as well.

What’s your free T look like? E2 comes from free T so if free T is low you won’t end up with much e2

The lab didn’t show it. But my labs several months ago showed low free testosterone and thought this is due to shbg so I started taking Boron.

Also anyway to increase E for now without overdosing test? I am feeling irritable all the time and going off on people.

Soy milk?

Drink beer.

Negative.

Also just read a scientific research that while Boron increases Free T, it also significantly decreases E2 due to the increase rate of conversion process of Free T.

Will stop Boron for a while and see what happens. How long should I expect to see E2 increase back? 3-4 weeks?

With free T that low I have no idea how far it even can bounce back. Normally 3-4 weeks for people that have overdone it with AI’s while on TRT. That’s the only situation I can use to give an estimate.

Beer can help speed it up, thus the reason for that suggestion

What is your current dose? What would you consider an overdose? Supplementing with a small amount of E2 is also an option that has been utilized. Just throwing that out there, I think it would be better to try others first, like maybe bumping up test.

My E2 was <8 on a lab. Non sensitive lab at that. I honestly didn’t feel any different than at 67. That was on 1/4 anastrozole to knock down the massive bloat I got when I started (I went all pufferfish). The wife thought I was going to die or something so I eliminated the bloat. I know about a month later it was in the 60’s again.

That beer comment may have seemed like a joke, but I was being serious. Some members here have discussed drinking to increase estrogen after crashing their E2 from AI use and it being beneficial to their well being.

Not meant for long term consumption of course, but it seemed like you were looking for a quicker fix.

I appreciate the suggestion. If it was a year ago, I would’ve hopped on the beer ASAP but quit drinking a year ago (I was an alcoholic and have family history (my uncle and grandfather) of liver cancer. Interestingly enough, my father died very young of Thyroid Cancer, which I will need to get checked right away as well (died at my current age of 38). Does Soy Milk actually work thought in raising E2 levels? I bought a gallon today and started drinking immediately. Also for me, I naturally have low E2 levels. For example, when I tried even a tiny bit of AI, my E2 plummeted.

Interesting you mentioned beer because the years I used to drink, I remember being happy moreso than now, not just during drinking but the following days after heavy drinking. I really hope the soy milk thing works.

When my E2 drops, I immediately feel different. I’m tired, no sex drive, and worse, I get mad at EVERYONE. I’ve also been taking Kratom for the past year, and I think this may have helped disguise the the unhappy feeling with low E2. Kratom literally saved my life. I statrted taking it as a replacement for drinking way too much alcohol (12 packs of beer or two bottles of wine in one night).

If you are a drinker, especially beer, then your body is used to high E2. Everyone is different. Some guys get ED when their E2 goes above a certain level, some guys go to pieces when it drops below a certain level. I don’t know why, and I don’t think anyone has a real explanation for it yet. We have the basic science around the hormones, but I think we have a very long way to go and bodies are complicated. That’s why you need to do what works for you, not anyone else. Advice on here is meant to help push in the right direction, but in the end you have to figure out your specific needs.

I’m interested in this, as I’m similar.

Last labs showed

7.5 free T
7.5 E2

I’m definitely more irritable, way less energy, and have lower libido. My SHBG in 91 currently. This was dropped from 117 after 3 months of Boron & ZMA daily.

I just began TRT after my last labs. Am told that despite SHBG still beign 91, my free T and e2 should begin to elevate. Hoping so…Are you urinating more frequently? I’ve had low e2 for quite awhile and pee more than anyone I’ve ever known. Not sure if this is related to anything either but my appetite has increased.

I think you and I have a pattern here and proves this point:

I read through some of your old posts. Looks like you did what I’m doing, but in reverse.

I STARTED on clomid. My T and E were both low. SHBG was toward the top of the regular range. Clomid did increase my T and E, but not much. However, it skyrockted my SHBG from high 50s to 117. One thing I will say when I was on clomid as I was sleeping incredibly deep and waking refreshed. Seems you’re not experiencing this, so maybe something else was at play for me to experience this? But I no longer am experiencing the deep sleep.

The only thing I’ve had success with so far is Cytomel helping get my weight under control, but even my thyroid isn’t quite right as of November. Hoping starting the TRT now will get everything in order.

thanks. One thing to also note is that I work out like an animal. At LEAST 2 hours a day, 7 days a week. I barely have any rest days. My body fat recently has been at it’s lowest, have gotten down even to 5% (based on caliper). I mean I was absolutely shredded. You can see blood veins popping out of my abs. I think this probably another factor in lowering my E2. I stopped the cutting phase about a week ago and hope to gain my sanity and being less moody back in a few weeks.
