Yes that is true. However, given Ive had times when my erections been SUPER HARD and libido great, when trying out different protocols and dosages, I know for sure my problem is hormonal, as sometimes, I just hit the “sweet spot” and my god is it fantastic, then it dissapears cause the hormone levels change.
Like for example, I was doing 50mg EOD, did it for 3 weeks, no change, so I got frustrated, took a large shot of 200mg of testosterone, BOOM the same night my erections was so damn hard and I fucked 4 times straight, hit the sweet spot.
Day after, hormones change, erections gone.
And yeah im a retard for not sticking to a protocol for several weeks but it just gets so damn frustrating when you go 2, 3, 4 weeks and often just feel terrible due to the estrogen going mad and everything.
You probably got ahead of the estrogen by doing that large dosage, estrogen always follows testosterone. I’m sure once things stabilized, things would have gone back to usual. It does sound like a receptor sensitivity issue.
When on new protocols I don’t start getting strong erections until the middle of week 5. It seems you are stressed out as well during the transition phase, a factor in libido and erections quality.
The guys E2 is at 12 but you’re stating he should take smaller doses of aromasin? Fml. Get off the aromasin. Let E2 rise as it should. Guess what provides libido and erection strength? E2! Stop the AI! Throw it out!
Hey guys, great news, my latest labwork is in and I’m definitely headed in the right direction just 3 weeks later!
TT 716
FT 29.5
E2 29.3
NOT touching anymore AIs. I’m surprised 150mg/week isn’t putting me higher than 716. I’m going to schedule a consultation with Dr Saya to discuss what he’d suggest.
You could be hypermetabolizing it like I do. 250mg a week brought my total to 1060. For most guys that would get them to 1800. Don’t concern yourself with total or E2. Free T is where it’s at.
If your free T is 30 and your total is 716 and someone else’s free T is 30 and their total is 1400, it makes no difference.
The point? The point is that you’re obsessing with numbers. You treat symptoms, not numbers on a piece of paper. Virtually every single guy I know who has symptom resolution has their free testosterone anywhere between 30 to 60. That’s just a reference point. I only started feeling better once I got to about 28. Now that I’m over 40 I feel significantly better. The point is that you need to increase dose slowly over time until your symptoms resolved to determine the proper dose for you. If you want to limit your dose due to a number on a piece of paper you will never feel optimized and you will continue to have symptoms. If the numbers scare you, stop measuring them.
