Eph+Caffeine vs DMAA+Caffeine?

Simple questions for the experienced folks:

How do the stimulatory effects of ephedrine+caffeine compare to high dosed DMAA (1,3-dimethylamylamine)+caffeine (or any high-dosed modern pre-wo formulas) as a pre-wo booster?

Also how do the come-downs (“crashes”) compare?

Haven plenty of experience with DMAA+caff before workouts but no experience with ephedrine. Since it is rather cumbersome to get ephedrine over here, I was wondering if it is worth the hassle.

Anyone with experience?

I personally prefer ephedrine + caffeine but have used both. The DMAA gives me a buzzed out feeling whereas ephedrine gives me a more alert, more energetic feeling. Also, I feel kind of crappy when the DMAA wears off but it’s not terrible or anything, just a mild headache. They both gave me energy but I had way better fat loss results with ephedrine.

The ephedrine products that you can purchase today are not even close to what was available 10-15 years ago. If I had a choice and one was more difficult to get than the other, I’d go with the easily accessible one.

I’ve tried jack3d and the old stacker2.
I couldn’t feel much with jack3d even with 3 scoops. Crash after an 1 hour 15 mins after taking. I take it 30 mins before workout so last 15 mins or so of workout suck. jack3d gives me a second crash a few hours after workout, mild depression which lasts a good few hours. I quit cause of the second crash.

I also prefer ECA. 10% (I read this years back) increase in caloric expenditure + it controls appetite. Only for cutting IMO. Also made me feel shit and cannot handle the jitters so I quit also.
