Awww thanks. I appreciate the compliments :grin::grin:

That’s one thing I like about my frame, it’s very proportionate.

But I’ve also liked that more inverted triangle look other pathetic women have too.

I’m more than sure you’re right In thinking I have some sort of imbalance when I stand. I just can’t pin point it as accurately as I like since I’m not standing still for more than a few mins. And when I go on break I lay down completely in the back seat of my car. Sitting too long irritates everything. So I try to be standing firm, or laying down, or moving in some sort of way.

I’m thinking it’s something to do with my lower half. I’m flat footed, but that usually effects my knees and I’ve fixed that for maybe a month now since figuring out what to do. So I’m thinking I might be shifting my weight over to my right leg, or my right leg isn’t as strong as my left leg when standing. My left leg is like made of steel. It rarely exhibits seriously issues unlike my right leg. So I’m thinking I can probably set aside rehab stuff for my right side. I am left handed too so that may or may not have something to do with it.

Thinking I’ll just stand somewhere for some length of time and just feel whatever it is going on. I don’t care how weird I look lol.

I’m glad that you’re able to experience more fun things with your daughter. I’m rather afraid of having kids, but that’s probably because I’m young. I’m sure my mind will change eventually lol. My husband is already baby struck and wants like 3. That’s gonna have to wait lol.

In my family everyone on my dads side has broad shoulders, and I take after my dad a lot more than my mother, so I have broad shoulders. My dad also has wide set hips, which I find normal for guys too, so I take after him on that too. The big breasts come solely from my moms side. Lol yea, That’s completely hereditary lol. I take after her eyes and lips though. Everything else is my dad lol.

Thanks Puff! I’ll still be around the forums. My logging will just be a bit sporadic. Work combined with school AND lifting while trying to cut, is rather difficult, so I cut back on training but keep it as heavy as I can. I’ve found that to work better than any other protocol I’ve tried.

Wish I could just take you to lunch today and talk in person. Instead…

@ Genetics. I have four generations of jockeys on my mom’s side of the family, so… yeah, small people. My dad and brothers are 5’5" and most of the women are my height or shorter. That side of the family all built like little gymnasts, which is where I got my calves and relative strength for my size. I’m a Daddy’s girl in that regard. A female version of him.

I’ve never had pain like that, or the sciatica you’re talking about.

Miserable. Yeah, it can be really difficult to figure out where it’s coming from and what to do about it. I wonder if a good sports medicine person could watch you walking, look at an imbalances and figure out what to do about that.

I just took my little one to the podiatrist because she’s got arch issues when running long distances, and he put her in a brace to support and immobilize the ligaments in her foot since they’re so inflamed, and he sent us for custom orthotics. Anyway, he took awhile, taking a fairly good look at her feet, ankles, posture, gait, etc… For you, I’m not sure where you’d start. I know @Spock81 has had some good success with massage therapy for muscle imbalances, hips and back.

We have a lot in common, besides lifting. I also married young. Met my husband at 20, and was married at 21. I wanted to finish my education and have my first real job before we had kids, so I was 26 when our first one was born.

@ Kids, you have time, which is one of the luxuries of marrying young. You’re not in this position, but a lot of people wait until their mid to late 30s (even early 40s) and that can be a real problem trying to get pregnant. I was thinking like you at your age, first finish school and start working in my field, get on our feet financially as a couple. Then I turned my attention more toward family.

Ideally, there’s a balance to these things, where we aren’t neglecting anything important… but there’s also a season where some things have to take priority.

Emotional
Spiritual
Relationships (husband, family, friends)
Physical (fitness, health, strength, nutrition)
Intellectual (education, career, learning new things)
Financial

Right now education and work/career goals are taking a lot of your focus. All good things.

…And trying to figure out what the heck is going on with your lower body and pain, so that’s trying to solve a physical problem. Unfortunately, health tends to put itself at the top of our priority list when we’re in some kind of pain! Sorry you’re having so much trouble.

I have a ballet teacher who is go good at spotting muscle imbalances and postural problems. I wish you were here. I have a feeling she could watch you walk around, and look at your feet and know what’s going on.

That would be AWESOME! If someone ever puts together a meet and greet thing I’ll be happy to pay a visit. We’re getting our funds together just so we can travel and have fun and all that.

Ha! My dad is 5 foot 6 and my mom is like 4 foot 11, maybe 5 feet with certain shoes on. I’m five feet five or take maybe half an inch lol.

They do have a sports doctor at the hostipal I go to get check ups and stuff. I went to a guy who was a sports doc and saw my other doctor a bunch of times when I trying to fix my lower back. I’ll have to save up for that, with all the screening and meds I was given insurance only covered half but I still owe like 400$ from what was 900$ our of my pocket lol.

I’d probably just have him screen any and everything to be honest. There’s only so much I can do self therapy wise.

Definitely agree.

I’ve been trying my best to manage everything. So far it’s okay, but I either sleep a lot in order to cope, or I get full blown angry which I end up taking it out on my husband and he never does shit wrong anyways. Poor thing. So I usually just spend a lot of quiet time. I’m not really that social. Most of anything concerning anyone else doesn’t really concern me. I guess it’s just indifference, but I think it’s rather normal. I still care for people I’ve mever met in my entire life…and I’ll sit and listen to aquaintences, but eventually I will disappear in my little corner with my husband. We’re not that social. We try, but then we’re like, “you wanna go home?”…”Obviously”. Lol But for some years we had a really tough time dealing with discrimination on our behalf. I’m black and my husband is white, and we had to deal with a lot of family and random people projecting whatever fears or insecurities their brains made up about two people being married of different ethnicities. Stuff has calmed down a lot this year, but I think it’s kind of scarred us from developing friendships with pretty much anyone. So we’re just eachothers best friends lol.

I’ll be alright lol. But thank you for spending time talking to me. I usually just lurk and say silly stuff on here. I try to help sometimes but it’s whatever lol.

But it’d be nice to come pay a visit.

@ Being a biracial couple. Dammit. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had to deal with some negative stuff from family and friends. Especially family. It’s nice to feel like the people closest to you all have your back, and wish you well without reservation.

My kids have Hispanic cousins, and one of their cousins just married an Asian young man last weekend, so our family is becoming more mixed. I’m happy to see that the younger generation seems to worry less about it, at least. My son dated a young woman of Hispanic/Black (Carribean) decent all last year. Darling girl. I’m hopeful that race is becoming less or an issue for most people. We live on a cul de sac, and we have had three biracial couples on our street over the years. (two B/W like you and your husband, and one W/Asian couple). My son reminds me that this is not typical everywhere.

My oldest goes to an Ivy League school, and I have to say the idea of big class differences would probably bother me. Some of his close friends are Manhattan penthouse, summer in the Hamptons, society kind of people, and he lived with one of their families over the summer. I realized that if he was marrying into a family like that ,I might feel pretty insecure about it. It might be pretty hard for me to have the other in-laws able to do a lot more financially for them, travel, vacation homes, different culture related to wealth, etc… That seems a lot more daunting to me than having him date a middle-class young woman from our religious tradition who is from a different ethnicity. I know there’s some reverse-snobbery in that.

@ Friendships. It sounds like you’re both more introverted, prefer a few really close, or deep relationships to having lots of acquaintances. Yeah, I get that too. You do need a few close relationships outside your marriage, but not a ton. A couple of good friends. You could have a cousin or a sibling who is that person for you. Don’t give up on making close couple friends. We still have three couples that we knew from our grad school days, and we still see them, they come to the beach and stay with us. Old friends who feel like family. It’s worth it to try.

If you’re ever in SoCal, let me know. I’d love to meet you in person.

Later you!
Puff

I’m hoping next year can be vacation year. Hopefully I’ll have at least a weekends worth of vacation time.

I have one close friend who is in Maryland. We’ve been friends since the 7th grade lol. My mom is also my best friend lol. She will always be my mother, but she told me once that she also wanted to build a good relationship with her kids. She had my brother at 17, had me at 33 and married my dad when they were 20. So she understands a lot. Things had been rough for a bit, but they’re smoothing our more and more.

My husband family is rich beyond belief, and my family are average working class folks. Money gets short more times than not, we have to save up for stuff like car alignments, hospital visits, stuff we want lol, but my mom told me that when it comes to the families of a couple, there’s no need to feel anxious or less than regardless of which household earns more money. If the happiness is focused on the couple being happy and thriving, money tends to not be an issue.

I only say that so you won’t feel so weary about that subject. Not that I know too much about it, but my husband mother will spoil me come the holidays or my birthdays, but I’m also cool with the fact that my mom has a few bills to catch up on during Christmas or my birthday so That means not getting something. So long as everyone is okay, I don’t particularly mind.

Awesome workout Cyber.

That is very cool, enjoy it. You pay your own bills and stuff. Your mother in law don’t do it to set anybody in a bad lightning, I think. I do believe she does it because she loves you.
My parents have more money than my wifes have. So she’s been spoiled over the years by my parents. When she realized they did it because they loved her, she have enjoyed it ever since.

If you really want a sweat try giant setting or supersetting the main lift with a couple of jumps before and some situps after … boom you’ll really break sweat.

I’m getting sick of sweating, don’t think I have ever sweat as much as I have lately, lol. You have an amazing work ethic though, good job.

Welp, time to go sweat another 5lbs off myself, it’s the only part I like about it, no time to eat and I burn the calories off fast.

I think you’ll like this one

For fun, here’s what the visuals to that song are. Idk if you’re a EDM concert person, but the first part is pretty cool. Whoever designed the layout and all that.

That is one SWEET, posterior chain right there!!

I know you hate those peach emojis, so I’m going to refrain. Lol.

Dang, your waist looks tiny. You’re a super curvy hourglass.
Very cute camo yoga tights, BTW.

Paying your dues. Awesome job!

It’s legit my favorite one even though I stopped buying from Starbucks years ago. Lol.

Extremely shock absorbent though. This is the longest I’ve had a phone without a cracked screen.

Take as much as you want lol.

It’s roughly 28-29 inches or so. I think it’s just because I have 44-45 inch hips my waist looks smaller. But thank you!

Pants are from Amazon. I’ll have to send the link. They were like 8$. I got three pairs since the gym clothes monster came and ate pretty much all of my old gym clothes lol

Hiking. The fun was kind of short lived. My husband fell into an ivy bush, so I had to make due with water, and a bunch of unscented Shea Butter to calm the irritation and the. We had to leave. He complained the entire 3 miles back. Poor thing.

I’m just wondering if all the places to trip and fall why the ivy bush? The trail was wide enough to drive a car through it lol
