It’s okay. The company itself is alright. It’s the folks they hire within that make working there a struggle.
Oh no no, I’m staying. Where else can I find a retail job starting me out at 14$ an hour? With a raise every six months, and I can possibly get capped out at 25$?
But what I am going to do, is use every last piece of resource I have to make this job bearable. Once I learn everything, I’m not going to give them a reason to not place me in a different department, and if I even smell a faint hint of retaliation, or favoritism, I’m going to be such a nuisance to that HR office.
Costco works off of seniority, to an extent. You can have a person working there for over 5 years and have a shitty work ethic, but have someone there for less than a year with a positive attitude and a kick ass work ethic and get the position they want.
So it comes down to how quickly, and efficiently I can play the game. So far I’m doing okay, just have to stick it out for the next 6 months.
We get free memberships. They just haven’t given them to the new employees which they should have. I’ve been irritating the managers about it. I’ll stop when I get my membership lol
I voted shoulder blade based on what I like on a girl, but you should do you. My kids are all geeks (they come by it naturally), and their tattoos reflect it, although I never got any. My younger daughter has a Homestuck thigh tat, my older daughter has a Starfleet emblem on her left chest right where it would be in a Starfleet uniform. My older son is diabetic and has a caduceus with his medic alert information on his left wrist, so he never has to worry about forgetting his medic alert bracelet again. My younger son is only 16 and hasn’t started yet, but I expect he’ll get some eventually.
I’m going to get all three of them regardless, I’m just stuck on which to get first. Got the funds just can’t really pick which one lol. So I figured I’d ask.
