That’s a great costume. The make up is really well done.

Thank you.

It took me roughly 4-5 hours. At first it wasn’t really looking like what I wanted but I did the smile last so after that it started to turn out pretty well. Lots of blending though. Half of it is paint, and the other half is my actual makeup lol.

hanging leg raises: 4x10

Getting really sick and tired of people pointing out redundant shit to me. Ive had a handful of people including hubby’s parents keep saying I need to do back extensions to help my injury. As if I wasn’t doing that shit long before I ever injured myself. Would I just magically stop doing them after I’m injured? No. And then they’ll say, “well, you should still do them”. The fuck do you think I’m doing? Only two people who don’t say stupid stuff to me are my mom and the Doc. Although he has his stupid moments. Everyone is acting like I’m well on my way to being half paralyzed or something. Other than occasional flare ups, I’m probably healthier than them, on a relative scale.

There are two schools of thought.

1—avoid things that might hurt you and live a safe
, but somewhat boring, life.

2—have fun, do what you want, and embrace the injuries that come with it.

I’m about to have my third surgery. I’ve had my shoulder and knee surgically repaired and I’m adding the hip. Some people are shocked by this and their response is to be careful and take it easy. Fuck that. I’m having a blast and I don’t regret any of it.

6 mile walk. Or 7. Lost count.

I realized my pain meds are pretty much Lorcets. Which explains why I pretty much do not wake up until they slightly wear off. I wake up in such a haze, and struggle to get out of bed, so I’m going to ask for the dosage to be lowered.

Husband was feeling rather adventurous so we ended up hiking in this hilly woodsy area up north of Texas that I had no idea about. Spent mostly the whole day there.

How no idea how many miles we covered and I kind of don’t care because it was an opportunity to have fun and spend some time together.

Update on other things:

Down to 199 again.

Not exactly sure where my strength is at, but I’d chalk it up to doing okay. Still able to add maybe 5-10lbs to my working set. Deadlifts are pretty much kept at the lowest percent for obvious reasons.

I’ve noticed my back tends to be the most sensitive upon waking, and when I settle down for bed. Once I stretch and move around it leaves.

Physique wise I haven’t really lost any size, but hot damn I’m really seeing the areas that hang onto fat for dear life. I did think it was upper body, but my lower body is putting up one hell of a fight in terms of fat loss. Not really upset about it, but cellulite is really annoying to deal with sometimes. Pretty happy that I’m seeing more definition though. Bout damn time.

Diet wise I probably could stand to not go without eating all day sometimes, but my appetite is virtually gone. Most days I just drink protein shakes with one semi-solid meal topping out at just barely 2,000, and keep going. Sometimes I’ll have round about 1,000 calories and just go home and crash. I’ve also been downing quite a few beers because I’ve been wanting to taste anything alcoholic for months now. Not really fond of hard liquor, but man do I enjoy a few of my favorite beers.

Other than that I’m not really enjoying the low levels of energy but it’s not too bad. I just sleep whenever I get the chance.

1000 sounds a little low to me, it’s no wonder you want to top it up with a few bevies.

Dude, 1,000 is waaaaay too low for me personally. No doubt about it. I’m just constantly all over the place, and I’m in the midst of actually having to adult and take care of other stuff, and I’m failing miserably lol. Between school and work, I’m pretty lucky to still be able to manage three training sessions a week.

Not one to make excuses, but I just suck at life right now lol. But giving up solves nothing. I am one to cry about it though. I’ll be honest lol. Just gotta cry it out sometimes.

Accompanied my mom to a Pilates class. Fucking. Hated. Every. Second.

To be honest I have no idea how my mom can wake up and do this stuff daily.

Update:

Down to 198 upon waking.

Been having issues with muscle cramps in the deep meaty part of my quads. Little bit of extra salt and upping foods with decent amounts of Mg, K, and the like.

Back has been feeling tremendous. And I do mean tremendous. Ever so slight pinch in my hip still but I barely notice it now.

I share your dislike of that kind of thing but it’s nice we all like different things. I can’t understand the motivation of running a marathon but tons of people get bored af lifting.
