Okay, started a really shitty “extra” project weekend before last. Didn’t get it finished until last weekend. The last few days I have been having a meltdown. I feel like I am on fire, my heart is trying to jump out of chest, and feel like death is a suitable alternative at this point. I have no idea what set it in motion, but I be damned if I let it wreck everything I have worked so hard to build this time. Felt better when I woke up so… now, not so much.

Good for you for picking yourself up, dusting yourself off, and getting back at it, quickly.

It’s not about making a big splash with grand goals. It’s about quiet consistency, making steady progression over years and decades…that old goat ^^ is a great example.

Plus, there is the added benefit that in the darkest times, “exercise” is the only chance your mind has of (temporary) relief from life stressors, and that is worth a lot more than mere PRs in weight lifted.

Okay, not too terribly disgusting, took it slow and easy. Lost some strength but that was to be expected. Woke up this morning at 122lbs, so I have only lost 6lbs since Sunday. If it will stop here I think I will be okay. Feel pretty good this morning. Cross your fingers.

Definitely feeling better this morning. Retraced everything in my mind and honestly think the issue was poison. I think it set the whole thing in motion. Thank God it’s about gone. Now, just need to eat, maybe a whole cow :smirk:

So, I am 3/4 of the way back up and out of the corner of my eye I see something move. There is some kind of varmit in my gym! Never got a good look at before it got under the “floor”. I am reasonably sure it is just a field mouse, but No! He ain’t living in there. That’s just food for snakes! No, no, no…
I have it closed up pretty tight so, not sure how it would have gotten in there. A couple of years ago I killed the biggest chicken you have ever seen in there! Like 7-8 foot long… Uh…uh… no…nope. Don’t want to do that again.

Anyway session over. No use trying to finish, because I will just be distracted and looking for the critter. Might as well get ready to go to the hippy fest in town. :grin:
