I just feel really bad for her editor. How many ‘likes,’ ‘d00ds,’ and other gibberish I can’t even bring myself to type were cut?

There is something happening in my neighboor. Some people are crazy and try to bite other person. I got bit by one idiot. What the fuck is happening

Does anyone know the website for the originator of this date for the Rapture? I think we should keep up with them and see how they explain it not happening.

No problem, Nards!

Twitter feed could be about to go quiet…

if the world did end i wouldnt care because i just spent 3 days in amsterdam.

Didn’t read the whole thread but just some clarification. The belief of a Judgment Day is standard in Christianity. However the Bible specifically states that we humans will never be able to predict when Jesus returns. A scripture along the lines of ‘Jesus will return like a thief in the night…’

However I’m an atheist so I dont beleive any of this shit. I believe the world will end one day, but it absolutely won’t be due to supernatural causes.

BTW, on that website they had asia billboards, its officially may 22nd on asian countries

This is correct.

Christ himself, speaking of His return, said, “But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

This bunch of kooks are not representative of Christianity with their predicted date and such. Nonetheless, many scoffers, including the atheists and agnostics on this thread and website will use this farce to justify their jeers at all folks who believe the Bible.

I always thought that was odd. Why would God give advance notice of an event you can’t prepare for?

I sorta mixed up the definitions.

If you reject all super natural claims but do not necessarily make the positive claim that gods definitely do not exist you are still an atheist.

You don’t believe in a god, but you don’t deny one exists.[/quote]
A little late to the discussion, but I saw this a feel the need to clarify.

Theist is a belief in a specific god as dictated by a particular creed.
Deist is a belief in a god NOT dictated by a particular creed.
Pantheist is a belief in multiple gods.
Atheist is a lack of belief in a god or gods.

Agnostic doesn’t refer to anything more than a declaration of no knowledge, and conversely gnostic refers to a declaration of knowledge. This doesn’t apply solely to religion and spirituality.

An agnostic would be either an agnostic deist/theist/pantheist (doesn’t know for sure a god or gods exist, but believes so) or an agnostic atheist (doesn’t know for sure if a god or gods exist, but sees no evidence or reason to believe one does)

I don’t think that’s the case. I think that these are the kinds of people (the kooks) that give religions a bad name, because they are exploiting peoples beliefs and (most likely) profiting from their efforts.

What annoys me is how many people get away with this, and how many people fall prey to it.

5 minutes left, I’m smoking a stogie and sipping a nice glass of whiskey…just in case.
