I’ve seen this plenty of times before. I have very little sympathy for a lot, and am quick to call “attention whore” about a lot. 95% of cutters I will call attention whores, but the average “cutter” is doing little superficial cuts that really carry no risk to them, it’s a cry for attention. This girl, is not an attention whore. You don’t go to the extreme that she went to just to be an attention whore. I have a friend who used to cut herself, she had carved words into her legs, getting all the way to bone a couple times. She was not doing it for attention. Luckily she has gotten help and hasn’t done it for years. This girl has serious problems, but unfortionately IMO, she’s beyond help. I hope I’m wrong though.

I am a cutter and I use m scars as art. Cutting actually feels good, for me its a self medicating thing. I don’t understand why people on a bodybuilding site (just as counter culture as emo/goth) are talking trash. Both cutting and lifting have the same pain/pleasure principle. While cutting doesnt build a godly physique it does provide clarity in mind and a means of release of stress.

NO.It’s not the same,I do it because I want to improve my body,while they do it without any purpose,except the CLEARING OF THE MIND,well my dear friend that is devious behavior,It’s simply not normal.Bodybuilding has it’s purpose and the pain,the soreness, the dieting all bring their fruits,while cutting yourself brings disgustingly ugly scars.Also we are biological machines designed to SURVIVE and REPLICATE we’re not here to inflict self-damage without a fuckin purpose except to seek attention in a sick way.
