Eminem Sucks

Dude, no offense, but you don’t strike me as the kind of guy I would feel comfortable even listening to this music around. I might turn it down when you walk by…so as not to frighten you.

hahaha aight

eminem scares the shit out of me

His last two cds were shit. He lost me as a fan during that time period for the most part. Why? because songs like Till I Collapse were always some of his best and longest lasting real hits, not the comical shit that got him on the Carson Daly show.[/quote]

It’s funny you should say that, I was just thinking that of all the songs on his albums, Til I collapse probably went the hardest and really gave you a picture of how he thinks. In that song, he didn’t call himself the best rapper ever- not even the best rapper NOW. It was a very well done song, from the beat to the lyrics, probably my favorite he’s put out.

I’ve always said that if I was to rank MY top 5 of all time, it would look like this:

  1. Nas
    1a. Eminem
  2. KRS - ONE
  3. Rakim
  4. Jay-z
  5. Royce

It is subjective as hell and no point in arguing such opinions. The first hip hop song I ever listened to was STAN and I must’ve played that shit 10 times in a row, and was absolutely stunned by the story telling. But when GREAT ONES like Rakim, Nas, Jay-z, KRS ONE and even the whole RUN DMC crew is vouching for someone and saying he’s great, then who the fuck are you to say he’s not? As they say in hip hop, “REAL RECOGNIZE REAL”.

Only one who could go toe to toe with EMINEM IMHO is NAS. His new album with Damian Marley is classic. And NAS maybe the only MC who never really had to change his style and stay successful(to real hip hop heads, anyway). I just wish NAS was included in that tour EM and Jayz did.

No one here likes DMX… Damn.

That’s what he wanted everyone to think. But one could sense he was really putting himself in or above the rappers he mentioned. Like when he said “I joke when I say I’m the best, but alot of truth is said in jest.”

I love DMX. Hopefully he can get his life straightened out and come back to the game soon.

Oh hes in the middle of a new album man i can’t wait. Got out of jail back in june i think? He actually turned himself in back in may.

Eminem can move over now, he had his shine. Make room for the next great white MC: Mr. Asher Roth.

Let’s hear a round of applause.

How many of you have heard of his music pre-slim shady lp? A majority of Eminem listeners haven’t heard the eminem before he went into a depressed state after the failing of his self-released album Infinite. It shows a very different side of him, one you don’t see in mainstream media. There’s no question of his skill or lyrical content, granted this is how many years old…

But listen to the flow!!!

Man simple beat just spittin, that’s what real hip hop is not the shit you hear on the radio these days, unless if it’s like J Dilla (rip) with the likes of Blu or Black Milk slaughtering with lyrics

Its a sick track no doubt. But like everyone else pointed out, hearing this sound from a 36 year old Eminem just doesn’t make sense, MUSICALLY. The man has grown up alot and gone through some major shit in his life, and in typical Eminem fashion hes used it to blow our minds away with the way he can use that as subject matter and create lyrical masterpieces.

Ironic coming from a dude who’s spent the entire thread doing just that…

Wow.

I’m amazed, but not really surprised. Eminem is really good. Apparently, this isn’t a new thing for him.

Have to say, I really like his latest work. Definitely different from the last couple. It’s funny reading how people are bashing him, simply because of his content. Especially when a majority of other rappers are only rapping about money, cars, hoes, and drugs. That’s it. He’s one of the few that brings originality to the table.

I definitely can’t say Em sucks but there’s not 1 Eminem song I’ve heard and liked in the past that I still wanna hear now.

no offense bro but i dont feel uncomfortable when i blast the shit out of death metal which is alot more “frightening” sounding than hip hop in north las vegas where theres been plenty of shootings gang activity not to mention infestations of tweakers and whatever else in bad neighborhoods so quit acting like youre the baddest dog around and everyone else is just some stupid suburban kid
