For Eminem, it’s the lyrics. The music he samples is great, but the lyrics are what stays in my mind. Be it Lose Yourself, Superman, Guilty Conscience, Stan - it doesn’t matter it’s all good. I think the people he collaborates with are also awesome. He’s definitely one artist I’ve brought with me from my days as a young adult in school till today.
It’s like he’s trying too hard these days. He’s trying to rap too fast. Think of how slow the raps were on MM LP and SS LP. That, and his beats are garbage, is Dre still producing eminems music? I wish he was at least as good as he used to be, then I’d have something to listen to.
