If you check out what those closest to him said in documentaries and books, he was pretty crazy. He’d go looking for fights, shot two off duty cops when the were harrasing a fellow motorist, beat the shit out of the hughs brothers, and was always known for getting in a lot of fights. Worrying about the “toughness” of rappers is like worrying whether Ross and Racheal will finally get together - it’s fake! I can see listening to rap or actual music, but I can’t see getting caught up with their “real” lives. Normally I would just rail agains rap in general - explaining that it is the lowest form of expression in popular media, but I kinda like Kid Rock so that would be hypocritical.
I’m not sure why this thread is so long on Eminem. One, I know most people on here aren’t into hip hop or rap. Two, all he does is pick on weaker people for some reason .
