Was pleasantly surprised to find I haven’t lost too much strength on the presses; 3x8 with 55kg was pretty easy. Everything else just a slow, gradual ease back into it.

My quads are wrecked from those light squats the other day!

How you doing Spock? Your training going well?

The whales were spectacular, but no orcas unfortunately. I like the picture of the tail I snapped just as that one dived, but have a few more less interesting ones too. PM me if you’re interested in more pics.

Looks great mate - yeah if I can get my act together, I wont be going until this time next year - I have until the end of next Sept to get the dissertation done and dusted! So wont be til at least after that!

Any more plans for the training? I have a comp on the 18th Nov, cant wait!

I don’t know about my training at the moment to be honest. I’ll take it slow and steady getting back into it; don’t want to injure myself after having not trained for a month. After that, I’d like to get someone to set up my programming for me. I know you had good results with Josh Bryant; any others you’ve worked with/can recommend? I think novaeer is working with Adam Hires at the moment and seems to be getting very strong results, so I’ll have a word with him too.

Where is your comp? Is it with the GBPF?

Comp is at Hatchford Brook, in Solihull - yeah GBPF, its the W.Mids regional mate. My first comp was the same one last year, so looking forward to seeing the progress in the year.

The main thing is I am back squatting again! hurrah!

I enjoyed working with Josh - lots of hard graft. I am working with Mike T on the RTS stuff at the minute, really enjoying that style of training, will probably stay with this for a long while (money permitting etc)

That’d be damn cool if you could get the 600kg raw total. How much do you weigh now? And I take it your knee/hip (?) problems have cleared up now if you’re chasing 210kg on the squat - or are you just working around it?
