I have actually always had good luck with the more expensive Troy bars.
took awhile but i got the info from eleiko usa.
the sport training bar has the same knurling as the olympic bar. and is 28mm =$799
it’s basically a kicked down version of the olympic bar and can be used as an all around bar
the powerlifting bar has a much rougher knurling and is 29mm = $999
