Election Day Thread

Which is good. Because that’s what needs to happen in this country, but I don’t feel any better about the people in charge.

words from the French ambassador… “after brexit and this election anything is possible, a world is collapsing before our eyes ”

I can’t say for sure because clearly I didn’t call this election, but I would agree with this. It seems like that is his personality through the decades.

Paul Ryan came out in support of Trump over the past few days. He may not have wanted to sound out of sync with the people of his state. I’m guessing the party will try to come together. Trump needs people who really know fiscal policy like Paul Ryan.

You can only go so long blaming, shaming, and asking for humble submission and deference from working-class people.

I thought he’d lost this at pussy, but I think maybe she lost it at deplorables.

I’m sitting in a wine cellar in Alabama, with a group of Seattle based architects who are shitting their pants and screaming at all trump supporters, stating they are ‘f*cking idiots’. Good times.

And North Dakota, and Montana I believe (or Idaho?). 9 states were up for that vote

I’m just dying to see PA become the nail in Clintons coffin.

There is also a lesson to be learned tonight by the media, stop telling us what to think. Stop taking sides and be more neutral on how you report the news.

One of the guys on CNN “you’re never as smart as they say you are when you win, and you’re never as dumb as they say you are when you lose”

Yep, I had a coach who said when you win you’re not as good as you look. When you lose you’re not as bad as you look.

Yeah, fuck that shit.

This I am quite sure is true. He is just as bad as other polititians there.

Guys, the shit we voted on tonight in Cali was obscenely stupid. One proposition to end the death penalty, another proposition to speed it up. Another proposition to release felons, so long as their last offense was non-violent. Another proposition to repeal the plastic bag ban. 4 proposals to increase taxes. We are run by idiots.

Find me some holy water STAT!!

Some of these states are so close, they may need to recount, right?

I think this is still too close to call.

I was not saying that it could not happen, my countries history says that it can, easily, however, they would immediately loose a lot of Support, if not almost all.

I myself have a very hard time of distinguishing White identity politics, which seems to be legitimate to me, because if everyone else does it, you might as well, and pure Racism.

I do know though that the lines, as they are drawn now, must shift.

Trump winning in Michigan by .9 with 75% of the vote in.

Well, we all are, no sane Person would do this shit.

When you’re trying to get someone’s vote but repeatedly tell them they are … racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamophobic, and one big basket of deplorables… that might backfire.

No experience, no ground game, much less money invested compared to Hillary, and here he is winning.

It’s not quite over, but at this point Hillary would need every single thing to go right for her.

Truth be told, if this were Clinton ahead 244-209 with these states remaining, I think the tone of coverage would be quite different right now. The spin would be “Hillary’s ahead, but look how close it is!”

Instead, all of the coverage is already about President Trump.

I’m watching the tone change and rationalizations pile up on NBC right now. Amazing how quickly they’re willing to eat words just hours old.
