Election Day Thread

For all the BS he wouldn’t be where he is if he was that bad. His kids are impressive, and he has a long history with the Clintons. His schtick isn’t much different from Hilary’s: say one thing to the banks in private and say another to the populace. I think the smart thing to do is wait and see.

I’m really curious how the Democratic Party responds to this.

The problem is that they’ve developed a message, and groomed a young generation, to think in a manner completely at odds with what this election is telling us.

If that ain’t a true feel good story…

Tears

I’m curious as well, but it is hard to say you’re the party for the middle class and disadvantaged when your candidate has taken more money than God from corporations and foreign interests.

She has been shrouded in controversy for years, it was bound to catch up with her.

Flipped over to MSM to see some crying

Their magicians are busy trying to conjure a tie at least

I know many of you guys are having fun with the tears from the Democrats,

but a friend of mine just posted on Facebook-

“As an Asian American woman, I’m absolutely terrified of what this means for me.”

As an Asian American man myself, I emphasize with her.

The alt-right/white nationalist/racists/whatever the hell you want to call them will feel incredibly emboldened by this, and that’ not really good for me.

The fear felt by minorities, citizens at that, are legitimate. Outright, blatant racism towards Asians only really “ended” just a couple of decades ago. I’m not dumb enough to think that the pendulum cannot swing back.

There will be a lot of questions to ask after Trump is (presumably) elected.

I agree with this, if he wins, it means Trump is president :unamused:

CNN’s Jake Tapper says Dems lost half of union votes. Still think TPP is a good idea ?

Holy shit, CNN is saying Trump is winning the national vote now as well…

The Democrats can’t even claim that they lost because of an “outdated” system now if this holds.

Trump President…and the Raiders lead their division???

It’s the dawn of the Zombie Apocalypse, I tell you…!

The Chokeland Raiders are winning ?! I need an old priest and a young priest.

Hahaha…true. Wow. I was thinking about that eaerlier this evening.

Also, to others, the butt hurt is fantastic. I said no matter who won I would have somebody to hate (which is true because although I don’t consider myself a Red/Blue partisan the candidates themselves are awful). On the Young Turks stream woman anchor (can’t remember her name because I rarely watch the show) “Let me just say on the subject of women voting against women, I have absolutely NO RESPECT for any woman who voted for Trump”

Well fuck you bitch. People like you are the EXACT FUCKING REASON you’re in the hole you are now–demonize a lot of people you don’t know and without bothering to understand their problems. Agreement absolutely does not have to occur, but if you can’t even bother to try to understand their problems then fuck you. You don’t deserve to win. Hillary did that with the entire Rust Belt and particularly Wisconsin and Michigan.

This I agree with. Ryan is a man I really like most of the time and I hope to hell he isn’t…but he probably is.

His projects do employ a lot of trades… Ironworkers, carpenters, steel workers…

Lots of workers.

Hillary wins Nevada, just called.

Then alt right has a racist and antisemtic element, no doubt but a) as an asian you are pretty far down on their list and b) they are a very small Segment of the alt right.

Yes, they proclaim that they are the “true alt-right” but as far as social Impact goes, that is nonsense.

The Dow is down 833 points.

Anita Kasparian, and remember, SHE IS BETTER THAN YOU!!!

Said so herself.

Don’t forget the Cubs

I know that Hispanics and blacks feel the most of the danger, but thinking that Asians are ok seems short-sighted to me.

Trump was never supposed to win. He appears to be winning.

As dchris just mentioned, the Cubs won the freaking World Series.

This is not a normal year. To assume that things will follow some predictable path seems short-sighted in my opinion.
