Laura Ingraham announced the phone number to a Democratic voter’s helpline over the radio airwaves, and suggested that her listeners should all call the number and jam the phone lines.
Stupid, because the GOP just got nailed for doing something similar in New Hampshire in 2004.
I wonder if she could go to jail for that?
Has anybody heard about Republican Michael Steele in Maryland, who passed out literature that suggested that he was a Democrat? Talk about running away from your party, Steele didn’t even want to admit he was a Republican. Steele bussed in homeless people from Philadelphi, to pass out phony fliers saying black Democratic leaders endorsed him (Steele is a black republican). The homeless people were stiffed on their pay, and the bus that was supposed to take them back to Philly never showed up. Nice!!!
Now that Mehlman is stepping down from the RNC, some are suggesting that Steele (who lost on Tuesday) should be Mehlman’s replacement. So the guy who can’t admit he’s a Republican during a campaign, will get promoted to run the GOP national committee?
