One question, do you hate Jews? Not Israel, Jews.
Do you believe Israel has the right to exist where they are?

[Edit:] Your posts were good, I just want to know where you stand on this.
i have nothing against Jews, i respect there religion, and i also respect Christians.
i’m against Zionists who took my land and killed my people, and btw some Jews support our cause. Do i believe Israel has the right to exist? No, not in Palestine. but i’m willing to live peacefully with them in my country as long as they admit it’s our country.
Um, that’s what I was afraid of. You know that’s not going to happen right? The Jews are simply not going to give up Israel and leave. Their not going to give it up and stay either. They are just not going to give it up.
Can you live peacefully with them if it’s their country, or would you prefer continuous war?
The only way your going to get rid of Israel is by force. Do you really want the blood bath associated with that?

Mmm,hmm. And suddenly you fulfill stereotypes. If you feel you cannot win, why fight? They are not the strongest country in the world, we are.
There is a peace treaty on the table complete with your own sovereign country, but you have to accept Israel as it’s own sovereign country too; even if they are on the land you want.
Through out the history of the world, when somebody wanted the land somebody else was on, you fought a war and kicked them off. If you could not do it, you deal with it.
Israel is not going anywhere. You can choose to live in peace or not. But if your choice is hate, tension and terror life will stagnate and never go on. If you cannot beat them, and you cannot leave, learn to live in peace. Is not Abraham both your father? Why hate your brother then?

A christian against Israel. They may want to reread their scripture.
I’m not sure what he’s talking about. I know several Coptic Christians (there is a group of 30 that go to my Mass) who have had family members killed in Palestine by their own Muslim family members. I don’t know all Copts, I am sure there could be some that do not like Israel, but I haven’t heard of any. As well, from what Jewbacca says the Copts seem to be on Israel’s side.

and no, Israel is the strongest country in the world.

btw Coptic Christians live only in Egypt, and yes some of them were killed but not by Muslims.
and even if they were muslims then they are not following Islam.

Not normally a fan of religion because of the polarization it contributes to, but this was sexy. Real sexy. Strong words, my man.

Seriously,

Why can’t they (everyone who could have influence, not just Israel) give Palestinians one plot of land, Israelis another, and have a buffer zone inbetween? Why the “all or nothing” insistence from both sides? Get it over with and split it up logically. Fucking. And quit with the fucking finger pointing; it always seems to unravel any progress made.

Thanks…I don’t buy the B.S. that’s Israel and not the Jews. If the U.S.S.R had taken that land I doubt there would be any terrorism. I don’t think they would like it, but they wouldn’t fight unto the death for it. It is directly because they are Jews in the land of Caanan as to why there is terror and strife and continual fighting. They simply cannot stand the fact the the Jews are in the Holy Land. If it were anyone else, they would just take it.

Both side are dumb. Animal dumb

That’s entirely too logical of a solution for a situation so infused with religion.

If the arabs put down their weapons tomorrow, there would be peace.

If the Israelis put down their weapons tomorrow, they would die.

Your moral equivalency is the only thing that is dumb.

That has been the Israeli offer since 1938. The arabs, inspired by Hitler and later the Soviet Union and now by their own leaders who wish to keep them supressed, refuse to allow Jewish people to exist.

That’s pretty much it.

This nonsense that “Jews stole land” or “occupied land” is just so much nonsene.

Jerusalem was a happily mixed land of Jews, Muslims, and Christians of various peoples until the early 1900s. Germany stirred up racial hatred and got Jordan to kill the Jewish people in East Jersualem. This slaughter is how it became “arab east Jerusalem.” It’s nonsense.

The rest of Israel was basically empty land, sold fair and square by the owners, largely during the mid-1800s when Russian Jewish people, expelled or fleeing pogroms bought the land.

Most of the so-called “Palestinains” are arabs from Southern Syria or Jordan who immigrated in search of a better life because the Jewish people were setting up a real country instead of a muslim dictatorship.

Indeed, the only truely free arabs in the middle east are in Israel — they vote, can serve in the military, full citizens, and can be any religion (or no religion) they want without fear of being stoned to death.

Brothers? Like Cain and Able? The Christian arabs in Gaza are constantly under fear of death and persecution.

Hamas stormed the Church of the Nativity and someone pissed all over the place where Christians believe Jesus was born.

It’s a death-penalty crime in Gaza for a muslim to covert to Christianity.

“Brothers” indeed.
Brother Chris wrote:

Yes, I know about the Copts and Muslim relationship, my cousin did a two year mission out there a a years ago. Doesn’t mean I’m still not worried about the religious minorities in Egypt if something goes down. If you don’t remember a someone put a bomb in a Coptic Church not too long ago, what like a month and a half ago?
Well, the muslims blew up a Coptic Church yesterday. “Brothers” gag.

It is true that the Christian arabs and the Muslim arabs were nominally aligned against Jewish people based on tribalism. There is a strong “replacement theology” tendacy among the Roman Catholics and Orthodox in the middle east, which lends to this, I think.

This tendancy was not helped, I think, by Jews who came from the West and identified Christians as their persecutors (e.g., Russian Orthodox, Lutherans (Germany), etc).

As the Christians are slaughtered or expelled in Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, and basically anywhere muslims have a sizable population, most Christians realized their mistake.

Nothing new.

The Muslim Brotherhood took responsibility for killing Anwar Sadat in 1981. In the same attack, they killed the Eqyptian high bishop of the Coptic Church.

(Sadat was the Eqyptian president who signed the peace treaty with Israel.)

There is no radical element in Israel, no religious fanatics, there have never been administration that “negotiated” while settling like crazy and thereby making the area of land they actually could give the Palestinians smaller and smaller?

Please.

Far too logical

I have a Jewish friend at university/college whose grandparents came from Alexandria but were expelled under Nasser (I think, don’t quote). In the 50s and 60s hundreds of thousands of Jews were expelled from arab countries and fled with what they could carry to Israel. Never hear about that in the media which is a shame.

My mother was on a kibbutz in the Yom Kippur war and remembers people worrying that that they were going to be wiped out. Honestly, in the face of provocation, I don’t think Israel gives a shit about human rights when so many people want to liquidate them from theirs. They’re just building a big ass barrier
