'Eggs are Bad for You'

Here you go…from Jonny Bowden

“I don’t have a perfect answer. No one is more concerened about mercury that I am…
There’s one reason I’m a little less panicked about mercury in seafood than you might think I’d be. And that reason is selenium. That amazing, anticancer trace mineral that I have made reference to in so many discussions in this book, is plentiful in seafood. Why does it matter? Because selenium is a powerful chelator of mercury, it helps mitigate the effects. There is evidence to show that selenium helps neutralize the effects of mercury acquired from foods.”

So essentially, yes, too much albacore tuna is probably not great, but there is tons of selenium in it. Here’s a link to foods high in selenium,

You could substitute your albacore with chunk light, which has less mercury.

I think awhile ago someone posted about a friend who had some mental faculty problems after eating 3 cans of tuna every day for a few weeks. I think the story went he went to a doc and the doc said lay off the tuna. So he stopped and the problems went away after a week, and he could still eat tuna just not 3 cans a day.
Of course that’s anecdotal.

Hmm that’s an awesome link dratner posted. check out the brazil nuts holy cow.

I think it’s idiotic if you bother to tell people you take creatine, protein, fish oil, or eat eggs. The only people who would know are the ones you live with. I, for one, do not feel the need to suffer fools.

I had to explain to the owner of my work’s wife that creatine isnt a steroid.

Her son was out working in the shop and he played football and I was asking him if he was lifting and what he was taking. He then told me that his mom thought creatine was a steroid and his mom wouldnt let him take.So I went up to her office and tried to set her straight. This was last summer and have no idea how she feels now but I thought that was pretty stupid.
