This kills me. I have to rest before I can make it out of the gym on my own two feet.
I try to keep the reps high, and overcome that feeling of piling on the weight. I DO go to failure on these sets, and keep the movement slow and deliberate. the idea is to work the muscle on this phase.
Work the muscle.
Spent the rest of the day on the couch watching Football and movies. And eating.
sashays into the room, looks around, finds a spot and snaps her fingers
Edgy dear, you must entertain your womenz if you expect us to hang out here. I request pic/vid of all my minions. You are not exempt from this. My time is precious.
Those squat numbers, especially considering how much you hated them, will keep me around long enough for you to figure out how that camera works.

That is the heaviest I’ve done on squats since I was 22. This is a major milestone for me. Back, knees and legs are feeling great.
I got motivated by Countingbeans’s commment about not into doing reps on legs, and just hitting some weight for low reps. I’ve been doing that ever since.
I’ll be glad to have tonite off, tho- Mebbe get some X-mas shopping done, ya’know?
For posting vids, you can either upload them from your computer directly to the site, in the spot that says “attach video” or some shit, or do what I do and upload them to youtube, and post the link here, and it magically turns it into an embedded video you can watch right on your page.
Oh, and for X-Mas you can just get me whatever, I’m not picky.
Although, some more 45# plates would be nice, and a full power rack, and some hawt abz,…you know, stuff like that

I do Sumo deads with a snatch grip. I since I’ve switched to Sumo’s, I don’t have the back problems that I used to. I had a local powerlifter suggest that I make the change since my legs are so long.

Ink- that list sounds just about perfect to me. I’m just wondering how you’re going to transfer your power enhancing unicorn to a metal rack…;)[/quote]
N, I would have thought that by now you’d have noticed I’m a bit on the crafty side. It saddens me a little to think that you don’t know that I’d easily be able to put a beastly unicorn on a metal rack using an engraving tool or a scribe to scratch it in.
Sigh.
Edgy, damn fine pulling, especially for an old man like yourself.
