True, I guess I was hoping to really rep it out.

I also noticed that my left shoulder is tighter than my right(the right was the one that got hurt over the summer and made me stop OH pressing for a while), I wonder if the tight left shoulder was throwing off the lift and hurting the right one.

So I tried making sure the right matched the left in position on the bar and tried to make sure the bar went straight up, it notice it wants to pull over to the right. :-/

Never noticed this problem before. Hmmm.

Well next week I’m trying for 115 in the race for plates thing so I’ll be filming that. :slight_smile:

I’ll be filming my dls tonight so if I don’t look too scruffy I might post one. lol

I’m hoping this place becomes totally chaotic. :smiley:

Meh to first day of dls after a break from them.

It was a 5 day but I usually have problems repping out on dls so I just did 3 sets of the final set but never actually hit 5 reps lol. Also I never really felt like my form was there until the final set. Next week will be better.

145 X 5
165 X 4, 3, 3

I did pistol box squats. 5 sets of 5 reps with only a little cheating on the weaker left side. Right side had no knee pain!!! And is very obviously the stronger leg, the 5 reps were easy for it. Balance is better on the right side too. It’s really about trying to get the strength levels equal so when the left is able to do all the reps the right can then I’ll move down to a lower box.

I went to the park for some sprints.

Thanks Edgy, you might not already know this, but this warthog and the “Come At Me Bro Kudu” were both trophies I took in South Africa. I’ll probably stick with the theme until I’ve used up all the pics the taxidermist sent me.

yeah, yeah, yeah - did some squats…

15 min cardio
warmup leg extensions

bar x 15 reps x 2 sets
135 x 10 reps x 2 sets
185 x 8 reps x 2 sets
225 x 5 reps x 5 sets

took a little time to warm up the Patella, and still had a little pain in my right knee, so I stuck with the 5x5 and was happy with it.

Front squats - ATG
135 x 10reps x 4 sets

Ham Curlz - 10 reps x 4 sets - slow up and down, really work the muscle

quick set of calves & heavy preachers, then home.

I had one of those all-day-headache-that-tylenol-doesn’t-touch, and almost bailed on training - but toughed it out.
