Hall got saved by the bell. Thor was overly cautious, but that’s always been his style, even in his strongman comps.

I’m pretty impressed by Thor actually. Yes, he is by no means a professional boxer, that should be obvious to anyone watching. But I will say, for a guy who was over 400lbs and a complete beginner to the boxing world only about a year ago, the man clearly got himself into great conditioning (for a man his size) and learned some pretty decent boxing skills. Again, not professional level, but definitely not a complete amateur either, which is honestly more than I was expecting from a strongman competitor.
Also, I don’t know if Hall spent more than a few hours training for this fight. Just an awful guard, terrible footwork, I think my 1 mandatory semester of boxing in college gave me better technical skills than this dude showed in the ring, and I would by no means call myself anything other than a terrible boxer lol.
Edit: that being said, Eddie would absolutely murder me in the ring. Dudes still huge and I think even with a good guard, one of those right crosses he was throwing would of sent me to the hospital
Partly disappointed and partly got what I expected. Thor was way too conservative and I don’t even know what to call what Eddy was doing. Let’s hope this is the end of the whole sorry situation and they can get on with their lives.
Aside from the result this is 100% what I expected. Eddie just wanted to throw bombs and Thor genuinely tried to become a boxer. I thought Eddies aggression would win out. But credit to Thor he was able to avoid being caught too many times.
Honestly I was half convinced that Eddie was going to be able to headbutt Thor’s fist hard enough to KO Thor.

Eddies neck is listed at 26 inches (source: the first Google hit on the subject), so you’re probably not far off.

Apparently Martyn Ford wants to fight Thor after he’s finished destroying The Iranian Photoshop. He’s 6’8" and around 320lbs, so it would be an interesting fight.
Maybe a dumb question but due to the lagging I didn’t get to watch much and haven’t seen much coverage anywhere else… who won?

Sounds like the Ford/Hulk fight is cancelled. From what it seems, the investors and promoters were very displeased when the hulk turned out to be just some fat guy, rather than the monster he appeared to be in his photoshopped pictures.

If anyone cares, the Iranian Hulk did have a boxing match against some bodybuilder called the Kazakh Titan and it was terrible. He gassed out immediately and could barely stand after a couple of minutes.
Terrible fight, terrible commentary, and terrible video highlights.
Embarrassing just plain embarrassing. Can you image if he did fight Ford. He would have died.
